Give more detail. Crazy how?
crazy in the sense that a lot of the artist were allowed to bring in guns by security. a lot of the club heads in the tunnel manage to get guns into the club. there was a lot of sex in the unisex bathrooms let see.. i do remember some one throwing water at noreaga on stage as he was preforming and he jump off the stage and just handle his business.

Care to share

think it was '98

was chillen with a few of my boys, a light brown slim petite shorty walked by and gave me a wink (mind u i'm more into thickness -phattys BUT shortie was just too pretty to pass up)
anywayz i left my crew to holla -wind up getting her a drink after a short while she was on some let's bounce shyt
but couldn't, cause i wasn't driving this night
real talk - i just wasn't willing to spend money on a cab & telly to smash when most used the unisex bathrooms to do that
so i let her go and bout 40 minutes later peep her hollaring at another nikka - dude had her in the corner tonguing her all down - i mean this was some serious throat action

i ain't gonna front i felt tight - :francis:

so, like 3 weeks later a regular day in da middle of the week
my boy calls me asks me to come over to his crib in queens
his fam was throwing a lil get together for his lil brother who just turned 18 -when it got late his lil brother insisted to go to the city... my man decided to get his lil brother some head - so we go to the meatpacking district
my boy is driving / i'm in the passenger/ lil bro is in da back
my boys say yo... here $60 pick one of these hoes and hurry up
so we driving around & around & around - he finally makes a decision yells out how much for head she said 80, i pull out 20 dollar bill and tell him to eat
so me and my boy have to get outta the car
my boy gets out & lets his lil brother hops into the driver seat
i get out & hold da door for da hoe - as she walks toward the car i'm barely paying attention but as she gets closer & closer. i noticed she looked kinda familiar, as she approaches and thanks me for holding da door...... i instantly froze up (it was the same shortie from da tunnel)

:ohhh:

A lot of sex was still under exxageratin lol

The DJ booth had hella phone jacks in the wall

"Thug nggaz use a macintosh.." -camron

G.o.a.t. club and it had no decor, tables, seats etc

@m0rninggl0ry

shyt was crazy tho. It was like being outside. Thousands of people in the dark, like 4000 heads. Nggaz had guns, knives, weed, coke out in the open

Bathrooms had chicks gettn trains ran on em cuz someone gave em that free "white pill" :pachaha:

Extasy was brand new and legal back then

A lotta nggaz didnt kno the club worked w the precinct around the corner too

they use to have a guy with a binder that had photos of mugshots and he would compare em to people on line.

We used to stash our weed so O.D. cuz cops would search anyone walkin to the club, driving by the club and even waiting on line outside. Random fukkery that had you feeling bad for the unlucky ones.

Imagine waiting 3 hours to get in a club n u get to the door n some ngga says "yeah thas him" n they cuff you.

Seen hella fights and a stabbing but never a shooting.

What was the illest part i never hear anyone talk about was it was broken into sections based on what boro u from

Bronx and staten sections in the corner lookin grimey

Queens by the bar yall :ahh:

I feel like more than anything, the closure of the tunnel affected the shift in NY Hip Hop to the south to the point where now people think NY street rap couldn't play in clubs and thats total bullshyt. Had it stayed open I believe other clubs would have followed suit
Dudes like Nas, Mobb Deep, Beanie Siegel, Dipset, Ghostface, Joe Budden, Papoose and Saigon would have really benefitted from the tunnel remaining open in the 2000s and through the 2010s. No doubt Southern Hip Hop would have still been a success and Crunk, Snap and Trap would have popped off in the tunnel (Cash Money benefitted tremendously and I think that acceptance helped it in NYC) but those guys with tunnel bangers would have had continued national prominence.
