i worked 2 or 3 nights a week 11 to 730 ish
i liked it, wasnt super busy [this was after a million years of minimum 50 hr weeks]
had plenty of time to just do whatever.
when these babies go to school i might look to be on call night shift somewhere
just for the discount. maybe not though.

Can't be making that much paper if u need 2 jobs.
No shade just saying

Depends on the job
Yes it is shade but the gist of what I was saying is that even tho I work overnight, I have a daytime job too.

And believe me anybody work two jobs can get bills paid quicker, debts settled and an opportunity to save money

Therefore, making paper:rudy:

Luckily I don't work the overnight. I have done overnights before to work on projects and when the floors get done. Usually I'm out around 1am. Starting at either 4 or 5pm. Good thing I like about closing is that the manager isn't there, so I don't gotta deal with him. It's more calm. Except for having to maintain things and getting ready for the next day. Plus I get to do more things during the day like run errands, go to appointments, hit up the gym, which is a bytch going in the evening time. Only bad thing is missing events and sports. I'm used to being up late anyways from my younger days. When I would stay up to watch Leno and the other late night tv. It does affect my sleep some days since I feel like I don't get enough, but then I'll make up for it on my day off. Or just take a nap before work. I was working in the daytime for a while when doing my pharmacy training and just being scheduled to help back there, but that was a 1 to 9, so not like I could do much during the day anyways. Plus I was used to being up late at night already so I think I got less sleep then, only perk was weekends off. But I'm back to closing shifts for the next few weeks. I think a balance of shifts is best. A few day shifts and a few night shifts. Only shift i hate is opening at 630 but I don't mind doing it. The worst is closing at 1230am and having to come back at 630am. Hate when my manager does the schedule that way. I be like

What a dumb post. I too work 2 full time jobs, 2pm to 10:30pm 11pm to 7am and many Americans wish they were in my living situation.
How many people making 50k + working two jobs as opposed to people making like 10 an hour
Like I said no shade cause I'm tryna get by my bands up too but let's not act like u balling out the gym working two jobs

11PM to 7AM currently and I enjoy it better then working in the daytime/afternoon. Its definitely not for everybody as it seems half the people working the shift look like zombies and sleep during break a lot. It's easy to see why quite a few people gain weight and get into bad habits working 3rd shift as well. I do get weekends off, but as people have stated, you'll miss a lot of events and trying to keep up with your sports teams is a chore(if you care about those sort of things). I still manage to hit the gym up 6-7 days a week and find enough free time to do other stuff, but yeah, its definitely not the life for most people.
How do u fit in your gym schedule with nightshift. I work 11pm-7am aswell, its a struggle fitting in the gym

im a nocturnal kind of guy so night shifts dont bother me, i mean, if most people can go to the club from 9pm to 5am in the morn, while dancing and standing up for hours, you can deff work nights, drop the chicks and get on your hustle

You can't compare one day a week to a 9 to 5.monday thru Friday

Mosr people aren't and couldn't handle clubbing from 9 to 5

After work, I kick back for a couple hours(relax & eat something right away, might sneak in a quick nap if possible), then around 10 or 11AM hit the gym. It can be a chore sometimes, but once in the gym, I don't feel tired, but it takes some getting used to.
