Been ridin my 05 CBR600RR for about a year now
Whyd you get rid of em though
Yea I like the ZX14 and the Busa. I was really thinking about getting a ZZR1200 to ride w/wifey on but we are just gonna get a car instead
200 MPH couches
Im familiar with a clutch in a car (trucks too, been driving stick since 15), but I have zero motorcycle experience. I assume its way different from riding a bike
-Whats the learning curve if you're familiar with a clutch already?
-How does somebody go about legally owning one (motor cycle licenses/insurance/etc, is it the same process as with an automobile)?
-As a 20 year old, is the insurance going to be murder? Is it even worth it

It almost looks like a track bike with the different color fairings. Have you done any track days?yea i started off on my 600rr, cant imagine havin done it any other way with any other bike. im just a honda fanboy. heres a pic of my bike after i just put new fairings on it yesterday

Really, what state are you located at? I ask because I have had a couple of friends that have done track days and they haven't even seen a MSF course. I have never done it myself. I have watched my buddies race at a couple of tracks.i havent but i want to.. to do so out here i gotta take the advanced msf course. which reminds me i gotta reschedule that right now

Man, we have tracks here. I know you know about Barber's Motorsports Park. I know you would love to be on a real track. But that's cool though, you work with what you have.im in hawaii. the people that actually host track days are the same ones that do the msf course, so thats why.. its not an actual track either, they just close off an airfield and set up cones
That ZZR is clean. I think that would be a good 1st bike for the fact that it's not a supersport. It's going to quicker than what you are used to but just be careful breh.about to cop this 07 Ninja ZZR600 for my first bike
Yea that bike is a lil much (100RWHP). But the way that bike is, as long as you don't rev past ~9000 it will go like a 250-500. Its fast but you have to commit to engage in fukkery (whereas something like a ZX10R will spit you off just cause). Ergonomics are OK too. That ZZR is clean.
