Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
:leon:

Whyd you get rid of em though :mjpls:

Yea I like the ZX14 and the Busa. I was really thinking about getting a ZZR1200 to ride w/wifey on but we are just gonna get a car instead

200 MPH couches :noah:

My girl was worried about it, and while she didn't ask me to get rid of my bike the fact she would call me non-stop during rides and try to stay on the phone with me let me know she thought everytime I got on it I could die. We've been talking about it, and she's still worried but more open to me getting another one, she wants me to get a cruiser though

What kind of car?

Im familiar with a clutch in a car (trucks too, been driving stick since 15), but I have zero motorcycle experience. I assume its way different from riding a bike :skip:

-Whats the learning curve if you're familiar with a clutch already?
-How does somebody go about legally owning one (motor cycle licenses/insurance/etc, is it the same process as with an automobile)?
-As a 20 year old, is the insurance going to be murder? Is it even worth it :hamster:

It is different, but if you understand the basics behind what the clutch is doing it makes things easier. Everyones learning curve is different, and it depends on what you're starting with as well.

Your insurance will be high, but there's plenty of 18-25 year olds with bikes. I don't think I could have owned a bike at 20 to be honest, the odds of me killing myself on one back then were just ridiculously high as I was a speed freak.

Yea as much $$$ sense as it would have made for me to have a bike in my early 20s, w/all the times I damn near killed myself in a car I def would have been dead on a bike. I look back at some of the shyt I did like :what: I have already called wifey from the ER for bike shyt and lived so I think she is OK with me riding for good. She likes to be on the back too and knows how safe I *can* ride so I'm good on that front. Even wants me to do some track days. You should do them too

I am keeping it very generic for our car. Altima/Accord/Camry/Maxima/Mazda6, used, V6, auto. Its gonna be wifey's car primarily and I don't want her to have any problems. But I still need to do my thang :steviej:

how do u like it breh?

Soon as I finish this MSF class and get my license next month, I already got a used '11 CBR250R waiting as my first bike. is the 600 a good next step bike?
CBR250R is a great bike to start on

I would give it 6 months to a year before jumping to a 600. But a 600 is a good + logical next step

It almost looks like a track bike with the different color fairings. Have you done any track days?

i havent but i want to.. to do so out here i gotta take the advanced msf course. which reminds me i gotta reschedule that right now
Really, what state are you located at? I ask because I have had a couple of friends that have done track days and they haven't even seen a MSF course. I have never done it myself. I have watched my buddies race at a couple of tracks.

im in hawaii. the people that actually host track days are the same ones that do the msf course, so thats why.. its not an actual track either, they just close off an airfield and set up cones

Man, we have tracks here. I know you know about Barber's Motorsports Park. I know you would love to be on a real track. But that's cool though, you work with what you have.

That ZZR is clean. I think that would be a good 1st bike for the fact that it's not a supersport. It's going to quicker than what you are used to but just be careful breh.
Yea that bike is a lil much (100RWHP). But the way that bike is, as long as you don't rev past ~9000 it will go like a 250-500. Its fast but you have to commit to engage in fukkery (whereas something like a ZX10R will spit you off just cause). Ergonomics are OK too.

Cant wait to live near some twisties. Got an open shot on one of the roads across Central Park, :noah:
