Yikes I did my 1st wheelie by accident today brehs. It was a clutch up wheelie. I didn’t even know 300s could wheelie that high since every video I’ve seen about it the guys front wheel barely comes up:patrice:Had a breh holding on for dear life like

300cc vs 600cc? Which do y'all recommend for a first bike? I know the 300 is 'safer' but I keep hearing if you have self-control you can handle the 600cc throttle

You can do a 600.. I would say do the class first .. see what you’re comfortable with.. I couldn’t do the 300 .. thought it was a
Waste of time. I got Ninja 650 which is like a good middle ground before a 600cc super sport and the ergonomics on it are better for that first year/ city riding. After I got a Suzuki GXSR 750

I started on a Yamaha R6(still got it 3 years later) . My friend started on a R3 and he quickly grew tired of it.

Take the beginner’s class and watch “Twist of the Wrist” on YT. Also practice your clutch and throttle control in an empty parking lot for a bit.

If you have a group to ride with it, it makes starting out much easier.

You clowns saying you started on a 636 or r6 are off the shyts

You take the class...you’re gonna ride a 260 or 125 most likely. It will not be representative of what you are going to be riding...get an SV650 if you’re going 600cc to start. I was actually faster on my SV than my Daytona at lightning and thunderbolt

600cc. If I'm not mistaken, 600cc don't have crazy torque until your Rev it out. Keep it under 5k and it's like a 300. And if you a big dude it'll better fit you anyway. I'd also find an empty parking lot to practice maneuvering, most folks don't do this
