How was it learning how to ride one? I'm interested in taking lessons and getting licensed when the lockdown ends.
It's not hard, I learned on an old '72 Honda CB750 like 20yrs ago. It's a balance between the clutch and gas to get going, once you get that, everything else is pretty easy.
When turning you lean into a turn and you look through it because where your eyes go is where you go. Shifting gears is usually 1 down and the rest up. Most patterns are 1-N-2-3-4-5-6th gear.
You have to mindful of your surroundings, use both front and rear brakes (majority of braking power is from the front), and ride defensively.
Wear protective gear to save yourself from accidents. Could be the difference between life and death.
