Give me all the information you know about Charleston, SC. I'm thinking of applying for a job down there (military).

I know Myrtle Beach is close by. But how are the restaurants, night life, is it diverse, do I gotta worry about confederate flags everywhere.

Keep in mind I am a city boy, but I've lived all over the world so I can easily adapt to any environment.

Charleston is pretty decent from my brief experiences there, good sized lil metro area, semi decent shopping and besides the terrible summers the weather is straight.

Charleston is a decent historic city, it's no city by any high standards probably. Keep the city in that context and don't over complicate it.

It's fairly diverse, but it's southern diverse meaning most folk stay in their own pocket and there's not much interaction.

You'll definitely get back in touch with your roots there tho
