Any Denzel Washingtong movies where he shows range?

Denzel is awesome first of all and he plays the cool guy who can be intense when needed, but is there anything with him where he plays a completely different character? Where he has an accent or is unrecognizable as himself. Most paid actors end up being typecast and do the same roles over and over so there is nothing wrong with it especially if you get consistent work.

But i was watching a bit of safe house and this thought just came through my head and there has to be something where Denzel tried to challenge himself. I googled it myself and came across Malik Yoba saying he doesn't think Denzel has range...thoughts?
