Where all my CT brehs at?
Currently a NY nikka looking to buy my first house in CT.
What's some good predominantly or majority black neighborhoods? Google search ain't really showing me shyt so I rather hear from brehs with experience.

Predominantly black
Low crime
Family neighborhoods

Any suggestions?

You’re considering moving to a state with one of the worst wealth disparities in the nation. Bridgeport, new haven, Hartford, all have large black populations but they all have pretty high crime rates. If you got the money, move to Westport and just drive to see folks if that’s what you want to do.

Westport is like 95% percent white. I definitely ain't doing that. Even a decent mix is fine but nowhere where the majority is white or when my daughter has to start school in a couple years and be the only black face in class...

I'm in East Flatbush Brooklyn but work in Manhattan. No new job but dont mind to commute to Manhattan everyday. Especially depending on area. Based off google maps, some areas are less than a hour drive to my job

What area? What's it like?

what is Hartford like now? my parents lived there for a little over a decade, I was born there but we moved back down south when I started grade school. I went back in 2001 to visit and check out colleges and it seemed mad bleak (which is saying a lot, coming from Memphis)

also, are there ANY talented rappers from the state doing it now? I started checking for this kid wes from Hartford but it seems quiet fr

dont move to the cities here..the taxes are ridiculous and dont provide the standard of living they should

there are plenty of towns close to the cities that you can live comfortably then travel to the cities (everything is close) to enjoy yourself

west hartford/wethersfield/newington in central ct

west haven is decent to be close to new haven

it also depends on your job situation
