Headquarters is far better than Emporium. My .02.

And yes, GG is in Brookfield but it's like 20min on Metra from Union Station, even lower by car depending on where you live. The diner across the street has nice people people working there and good food by diner standards.

I should try it out while i still am in the area, only been to the emporium's and Headquarters.

Yeah my boy told me he was taking his little brother there for his birthday several years ago (can't remember when exactly, probably around 2009-11), so I invited my little brothers and we took that drive up there. I live way on the Southside so it was like a 30-40 minute drive, but it was worth it.

I'm only 26 so I wasn't old enough to get the real arcade experience like how the old heads talk about it. There were lil arcades in the malls and shyt like that but Galloping Ghost restore the feeling lol it's like I know what it was like now. shyt was piff, I do recommend.

By the way if you need a break from terrible ass 8 bit graphics they also have rooms where you can play the newest systems as well. After about 2 straight hours of enjoying classic piffery we took maybe like an hour break to catch up on some newer shyt we haven't played before getting back to the classics.

Emporium in Wicker is the weakest arcade out of all of them. You need to open up that wallet for HQ and GG.

I've heard about it for years, but never been cause I'm a gamer but not like that.

Plus I stay in the South Burbs of Chicago, and I'm not driving all the way out there for that. Matter fact, there needs to be more options like this out South, cause there's a whole market up for grabs. People be driving from NW Indiana all the way out to these cac burbs in Chicago just to play at an arcade or to enter a tournament

Yeah it was some after date kinda tip so just passed through since we was in the area. It was aight. I have heard good things about HQ tho

I've only been to the emporium barcade in chicago when we did the COLI meetup that time. however, I'll be back in the chi next week, so maybe I can check it out if I got time.

EDIT: it's in the suburbs. probably won't take the time to drive out there. not exactly close to my crib.
