I was prepping for this chili a bit earlier and as I was slicing the bell peppers for this food chopper I got and I finally realized.... this would actually be faster if I could cut like a chef. How do you do that safely?

Doc oughtta be entering the room any minute now :ehh:

Practice. I been cooking for years so I know how to cut stuff. But I still chips my nails sometimes just being careless. Not no medical grade ish though

But something like chili sounds like a food processor can help.

Bell peppers are the worst cuz you gotta cut the core, stem, the white inner part, and it's shaped weird

He's showing off, but see how on the holding hand he's curling his finger tips in.
1. Have a sharp knife. When I say sharp, I mean cut a piece of paper without dragging sharp.

2. Curl your fingers away like the chef is while holding your veg.

3. Practice.
It's severed at the knuckle :sadcam:

I'm lying about the ER part but I really am making chili and it got me wondering :troll:

He shows you in the video

That's the proper way to hold the knife, complete control.

Then he curls his fingers back as he dices.

Almost impossible to cut yourself.

I got a solution for you. Go to Amazon and buy a vegetable chopper. I save so much prep time with this.
