Right wing disinformation.
Notice anytime someone tries to spread misinformation it has some right wing bent to it?

One of the largest problem I see is people equating anything that goes against the mainstream/establishment/expert class as being true. Just because a view point goes against the mainsteam doesn't mean it is valid. In fact, it's most of the time even more incorrect and problematic.

Covid was a textbook example of this. Suddenly everyone was an "expert" and some how knew more than epidemiologists and virologists. It resulted in avoidable death and suffering.

"I love the uneducated"

And the crowd cheered wildly. It was at that moment I knew we were fukkED. It became cool to be dumb and proud. So of course come the next biggest test for humanity COVID. There was mass of Darwin award recipients cuz wtf does science know anyway?:hhh:

Just give me my horse pills for the 5g radiation bat flu Chyna virus and let me be on my way with some anti Christ trojan boosters... Deep state big pharma and demonic entities be damned.

What a time to be alive

:unimpressed:
This is sensationalism

The problem with the covid anti vax rhetoric is how one sided it is and the looming idea that scientists can never be wrong, despite scientists REPEATEDLY being proven wrong. There are things that were flagged as misinformation during the height of Covid that have now been quietly confirmed by the same entities.

I don't deny the existence of complete morons, but often the morons are conflated with people who have legitimate questions and concerns. Those concerns are met with ridicule and intellectual superiority claims with no real basis. The weight of idiocy and misinformation is placed on one side while another side gets to feel smart while being wrong

When met with that type of energy anyone is gonna be defensive, and two sides are now aggressively opposed

It's not sensationalism. I completely agree with everything else. 99.9 percent of people that presented anti Vax sentiments had entirely fukked up and misguided reasoning. They droned out any actual objective critical voices. Of which I'm one. The efficacy of the vaccines has not been as good as non mRNA based ones and so they have to keep calling for boosters. A lot of reasonable people have decided not to boost. That's an example of people being objective and they didn't do it because they were anti science of conspiracy like most others. Science is heavy on peer reviews.
The one thing I kept telling conspiracy nuts is they don't have to take anyone's word. That's not how science works. Yes they can be wrong and it is encouraged to disprove things that might not be accurate rather than just accept them. But conspiracy nuts don't challenge things on an intellectual level. The end result of that conspiracy nut shyt is a lot of hospital staff quit after vilified and under appreciated. Thanks to the idiots we are loosing medical professionals.

Yup. Covid got me realizing how much of a man-child i was.

My fuse is shorter than ever before (and this is coming from a non-confrontational, mild mannered, subtle tempered fella his whole life).

The last straw was when i went off on the old lady and severed ties w the person i wanted to spend the rest of my days with. Shiit was that bad. Called her every name
On the book. Took the sharpest dagger to her poor little heart.

A lot of us are hurt out here and need healing.

Shiits gonna take a lot more than just time and therapy.

How do we learn to evolve and become better people who react with resolve and respond with compassion.

I am broken.

And i yearn to be a more sound, empathetic and meditative individual.

Help me, mama.
