Anthony Richardson has one of the highest ceilings we've ever seen for a QB

Getting Josh Downs back in the line-up should help a lot with the short game. Those two had a connection in the games Ant managed to play in last season. But really, just getting those in-game reps in are big for him as the youngest starting QB in the league.

He's got Shane Steichen

I wasn't high on him coming out cause he didn't play alot at all

But his coach is really good..

He definitely has serious potential
I know Shane is happy as hell to have him too. Anthony’s improvised TD run on fourth down yesterday saved Steichen from what would’ve been a lot of smoke.

Richardson should ideally grow as a QB, and it’s going to take quite some patience. At the same time, I don’t see this Colts team doing anything big under Ballard.

I think "highest ceilings we've ever seen" is hyperbole like a MF.

He can be good. Great even. This era's Cam Newton, potentially. Perhaps a better passer.

But that's still not an "OMG" out of the stratosphere kind of player.

I find myself often taking a conservative view on most young prospects regardless of the sport. And that's viewed as a Debbie Downer kind of thing, but it's the truth. Fans of all sports easily fall in love with early success or flashes of greatness. It is nice and even a lot of fun to ride the hype train.

And it almost never works out that way.
The annoying part is that you get hate for having doubts, and when you're proven right you get hate for saying you were right.

Such is the internet.

Gonna try to watch some Indy games.
Could be worse, like watching the Titans play.

OT, but it still makes me sad how much better Josh Allen is than Cam Newton was:mjcry:

I'd still MVP Cam over any Josh season so far...but yea.

He's basically a rookie and is already flashing. Struggling with overall accuracy but he can play within rhythm, reads defenses, and can make any throw.
He doesn't have to be Joe Burrow accurate. He just has to stop missing the easy throws. He figures that out he could be scary. Just a question of IF

Could be like the Giannis of QBs

:unimpressed:

Sir, don’t bother bringing us up. That trash organization is only interested in selling tickets to opposing fanbases that want to go to Vegas and see their team get a lopsided victory.

We ain’t never gon draft a young QB with promise. We’re basically Bears West and depending on what Caleb does we’ll be alone in the trash team that hate the very thought of getting a real QB category.
