Most definitely. But using the Fury fight is trash. No heavyweight has that kind of head movement , nowhere near it. AJ is a much better boxer but he has his flaws, kind of stationary and leaves himself open a little too much- Takam for example was dinging him up more than I thought he would. I’m sure the fight will take place but that vibranium filled right surely has AJ and his team worried. I really think he’s waiting until Wilder gets a little older and loses some of that athleticism, I don’t know if he can go 12 rounds avoiding that killshot if the fight takes place in 2019.

Yep

Wilder never gets dropped. We'll see.

He never been hit by Joshua either. Povetkin never been stopped. Dillian whyte had never been stopped. You seen what happened to them, right? If wilder chases Joshua he is going to sleep. Nobody walks that man down

The idea Wilder won't be able to get to Joshua is comical, Joshua's handlers don't even believe that shyt...

Eddie Hearn is scared shytless of that Wilder right hand and its painfully obvious why...

Joshua is the better boxer but Hearn knows he's way too stiff to avoid that Wilder eraser and refuses to risk cashing out his cow on a wild card...

Even Povetkin, a smaller man was tagging Joshua easy before he gassed and even staggered him early in that fight...

Wilder just looks suspect anytime he faces someone of real quality. I thought he looked terrible against fury...but as we saw his right hand bailed him out (even though he still lost the fight) so thats always gonna be factor. But at the same time you cold say the same about Joshua, he's also a power puncher so if Wilder gets caught it'll be lights out as well.

Ultimately I think Joshua's ring IQ, boxing ability, power and athleticism will see him through to a victory but none the less it'll be an interesting fight.

Joshua is obviously better but if they fight today im putting my money on WIlder landing that one punch and ending the fight. Joshua is stiff and has unimpressive head movement....its a guarantedd Wilder will land at least 2 straight rights on him.

Now I know people will say "well Deontay wont even get the chance to land that right because Joshua will KO him". Yeah sure that would happen IF Joshua wasnt scared of Wilder's power. If they fight now then you can rest assured that Joshua is gonna try and stay on the outside and not gamble by going for a KO in fear of being caught by that right.

So, all in all: Wilder knocks him out :yeshrug:

Trying to press on Wilder might get him knocked out. He not getting up like Fury did, folks.
"might"

Dudes like Szpilka could pressure Wilder for many rounds without consequences.
It won't be enough against Joshua to put together a well timed counter by round 9 or so cause he gets taken out before that.
Wilder isn't a great counterpuncher, Joshua's reach and height are just 1 inch below Wilder's or what and he is the quicker thinker in there than Wilder with much better countering ability and combination punching. If he can take the fights at close quarters it's a wrap for Wilder. Joshua is at his best mid range/pocket while Wilder is at his worst there.

Btw I'm not necessarily saying Joshua would get up if knocked down by Wilder but it's worth a consideration cause he was caught clean by a right from Wlad which is also hard af and he got up so I don't even exclude the possibility that he would get up.

Your friend Szpilka? He almost got killed, my friend. He got obliterated. He paid for his follies. Its nice that you were impressed with his trajectory but he got punked out more than almost anyone in the last 5 years. Joshua is not Fury..you people better come back to reality. Joshua has been bringing up every option that isnt Wilder. Him and his little master. So we'll see if finally steps up.

Lol@Wlad punching as hard as Wilder. With the exception, these guys are getting knocked senseless.

I don't think it's crazy to say Wlad's punch being as big but as a matter of fact I didn't claim that.

You've taken out the context that Szpilka example too. What I was saying dude was on Wilder's ass the whole time and it took 9 rounds for Wilder to finally land his big punch and KO him so it's not like you can't put pressure on him cause he gonna knock you out immediately. He can't afford the same luxury if Joshua pressures him, if he lets him do that it's gonna be lights out for him in 5-6 rounds.

:mjlol: so why he the one scared....
he know hes a better boxer
but he just seen fury see jesus and come back to life u know he shook
I doubt he's shook I would probably blame it on his promoter :manny: look at the opponents Wilder have fought in the past they aren't that impressive so there is no real reason for AJ to be scared. I'm a casual fan just want the best to fight the best :manny:

He was on his ass but what happened as he grew more confident? He literally jumped into a hellacious right hand for the history books. That was the ending and has usually been the ending till two Sats ago.

He cant afford it with Joshua? Yeah...I don't think Joshua is better than Ortiz so I damn sure dont see him walking down Wilder and getting in reach.
