We got all of this for 1 person that was leaving anyway

Not just leaving... but openly protesting to leave to go the team that traded control of their for the next 7 years

Can't wait till 2023 when a 30 year old Anthony Davis sees LeBron in Cleveland playing with his son while the Pelicans run the league and thinks: "Yo NO got a squad"

Bron stans, who been mad the past few months, and takin' it out on their woman, are gonna finally show their woman some affection.

*Kisses woman on the forehead 1st thing in the morning*

Her: "What's that for???":dwillhuh:

"You know what? I love you so very much. I'm sorry I've been hostile towards you, but now, since we have Anthony Davis, and KD & Klay won't be playing next season, the west is wide open, and so are my arms for you. Come to me.":shaq:

No it wouldn’t because

1. The hypocrisy so obvious

2. The backlash was personal. People in the media, actual professionals covering the NBA, were questioning his character.

Not pathetic at all to respond.
What hypocrisy?

There is literally no comparison to be made between that signing and this trade. Its pathetic that youre reaching to try and it'd be even moreso if the fukking WARRIORS of all people started complaining about anyone teaming up. They dont get to say shyt about that ever.

Bron going to be back on those Miami squads, bout to sign the 3rd piece with Kemba. Then go get Wes Matthews, bring Ariza back, sign Collison (please, somebody) and Rondo, Kosta Koufos, and the corpse of Vince Carter. Maybe some combo forward like Rudy Gay.

It's a tremendous risk that the Lakers are taking here. Lebron's got 56,000 minutes on his tires. That's around when Kobe started breaking down, and LeBron just had his first serious injury. Now we're talking about a (likely) capped-out Lakers squad 3 years from now with an injury-prone Davis and washed Kemba/Butler vs. Zion, another top 5-10 pick, Ingram, Ball, and possibly another big time free agent? Man, that's a heavy roll of the dice.
They have a shot to win it all next season. Everything else is just a hypothetical. If they win it all, none of what you typed matters. The whole point of this is to win a ring.

Davis is only 26. He gets a bunch of little injuries but hasn't had anything major yet. A competent organization will be able to surround him with talent for the next decade. If they fail to do that, they deserve to get haunted by the pick swaps. If they handle their business though those swaps will be a moot point.
