I always felt Ingram was the better player so that would’ve been seen as a super rape by the Lakers if they kept him :wow:

just read the last page. I don’t understand people harping on them “mortgaging” their future. When you get LeBron you’re focused on win now..whether they admitted that initially or not. Maybe hitting on a pick or maybe Zo developing isn’t something I’d gamble on when I have a sure shot at a championship now.

It’s a buddy buddy league..Lakers will be able to get someone to come over with AD after LeBron leaves.
AD went to Kentucky he’ll be able to get a Kentucky star stuck on a shytty team to come over (Booker :shaq:)

They would've been better off if they traded Kuz instead of Ingram but I think at the time BI's blood clot had LA/Bron like:huhldup:

We saw what happened with bosh, where even though he came back it happened again the next year and that was a wrap for his whole career.

So much Juelzing going on :mjlol:

TOO MUCH.

I read unfathomable takes about this was a Melo trade part two & Lakers would end up like the Knicks

Ingram, Zion & struggle Ball/Hart were gonna make a playoff run immediately!

"Old-time and Showtime" would still get beat by the likes of the Houston Rockets or California Clippers.

The Los Angeles future was mortaged, it was the worst trade in LA history, and they may never recover so put a flat top on the Staples Center.

I dont wanna hear all this extra shyt. This spin. I was some valid answers, damn it! :mjlol:

No everyone who even paid attention knew BI>>>>Kuz. Don’t fall the idiot media hype that Kuz was better player. Laker fans and b-ball people know BI the better player

Ingram was the centerpiece of the deal for them. No Ingram= no deal.

It was the obvious right move to make from the beginning. People were severely overrating the players that the Lakers traded. Ingram is a great young player but when the trade basically comes down to Him for AD you go AD every time.
Part of that is the media and lakeshow was hyping their value to the point that nights thought adding Kuzma was going to really be overload. In reality, I’d have kept one pick and thrown Kuzma if I could. nikka is Jordan clarkson without the handles

AD still better than all 3 of those players combined and when bron retires you don’t think AD can get another star to join him in LA?

Why not
And even if he steps down, whats that? 20/7/7? That’s an all star. He showed he can still pass as good if not better than ever. 18/8/8 is all nba still if you win 55 games

Ball and Hart are whatever so to me they gave up Ingram and some late 1sts. I'll do that anyday for a chance to win a title now. None of those guys are gonna be main players in a title team. In sports trades, you generally overpay. Ainge got everyone thinking you can fleece ppl ala Billy King or get bargains

Bron has 3 more seasons of at least 22/7/7 caliber play...he wont be able to take over like in the past but barring injury he will still give Allstar level production

Bron is entering the age where soft tissue injuries and tears start to show. I can't see him being a super mutant for that long.

Where is the tangible proof of that besides the one anomaly last year?
The man is going to be 36. The proof is in father time always doing his thing to athletes. You act like I want it to happen. :dahell:

I swear some fans would rather have the belief they might win 4 years from now instead of just winning now. :dwillhuh:

Like how does that shyt work? You know these championship runs are not guaranteed right? Its plenty of people who have lived their entire lives without seeing their team even make the Finals.
