I recall him playing better than Kobe in game 7.
I remember Kobe playing good in some of the losses :manny:

I’m curious what their stats were in the Lakers wins. Cause I thought back then Pau deserved finals mvp. I could be wrong though :yeshrug:

You recall that because you're a corny hater. Pau shot like trash in G7 AND choked from the line in the 4th. Shot 1-4 from the line in the 4th while Kobe was like 8-8 or some shyt. He also played like trash in G6 (elimination game) and G5.

you think he was finals MVP cuz he shot really bad on the same night kobe shot really really bad. That's literally it. He was never better than Kobe in any game that series, and he choked in the 4th but all you corny idiots ever got from that game was "6/24" so you ignore that. You probably didn't even watch the game.

Pau, 5-12 for 12 points

Game 6 elimination game

Pau 6-14 17 pts

Breh we just spent an entire week shytting on Kawhis and PGs entire existence. Why? Something petty, they play for a team we don’t like.

Every time Bron gets criticized isn’t a referendum on stan wars and white folks dividing us. Every other star in the NBA is also black and gets shytted on all the time.

You didn’t hear? LeBron is the only black man in the league. Also the only one married with kids too.

These are the same clowns who say dirk single handedly beat the heat even tho they won 2 games where he shot under 35% and played no defense :mjlol:

And wasn't the main guy getting shots for other players either.

It's weird, in The Coli you'll constantly hear that the NBA pushes star player narratives too much and doesn't promote teams and rivalries like they should....but this is the WORST place for fools talking like guys playing one-on-one out there and nothing else matters.

cant recall MJ at 35 lettin a nikka thats 27 save his ass
show any bulls playoff game where pippen scored the bulls last 10 points + the game winner when Jordan was on the court
I just remembered - Paxson did it in a bigger game than this one:

Ended up with 20 in that game including 10 of the last 12 until the Lakers had to start fouling. MJ wasn't even the leading scorer in that game, Pippen was with 32. And that was a Finals close-out game.

And that wasn't even the only time MJ let Paxson close out a championship:

Of course, MJ is the one that let Steve Kerr take the series-winning shot in Game 6 of the 1997 Finals, then let Luc Longley take the game-tying shot that sent Game 1 of the 1998 Finals into overtime, then let Scottie Pippen take (and miss) the game-winner in overtime of Game 1, before air-balling his own game-winner in Game 5 and then finally making one in Game 6. So the narrative that MJ had to take every big shot is dumb as fukk.

Miami has Butler and Iggy who have held Bron to his worst numbers in his playoff career. The Heat are a nightmare match-up for Bron, I'd much rather him face the Celtics.
Iggy who held Bron to 30-11-9 on 49% shooting in the 2016 Finals, 34-12-10 on 56% shooting in the 2017 Finals, and 34-9-10 on 53% shooting in the 2018 Finals?

Still living off that 2015 glory I see. :aicmon:

And 2015 stats are hard to compare to anything because LBJ had a bad back and zero jump shot that year no matter who he played.

That being said, I love how Butler defends LeBron and think the combination of him plus Bam is indeed the best defense anyone can throw at him. If that's the Finals matchup it will be interesting to see how Miami's zones or LA's picks will allow LBJ to hunt mismatches on other guys or not.

Bron had a very good game, didn't play that well in the 4th

They're not even in a position to win without his play in 1-3
By his standards I'd say he had a "decent" game. He was incredible in the first half but he looked tired and made a number of errors in the 4th quarter.

By anyone else's standards of course it was a very good game though and definitely a big part of the W.

You might have a point :hubie:

I think the real question is how Boston lost the series. That was a major choke especially game 7

Cause Kobe wasn’t great and Pau obviously wasn’t as good as I remember

All I know is Ron Artest won them one game

Kobe wasn’t much of a factor as he typically is or you’d expect

Nonetheless who else could they have given MVP award to :manny:

I still think Curry got robbed of a finals mvp. If Kobe got it in 2010 then Curry should’ve won in 2015:beli:
