If AD tells the media.... "They are suppressing my minutes to protect a lotto spot... I am fully healthy"

The Leauge will be in New Orleans the next day and will ask why the drastic minutes reduction... What will be the pelicans answer?

Let's please not get into playing dumb or silly here :comeon:

What are the Blazers, Nuggets, or Clippers offering though that the Pelicans would want if he's so hell bent on getting to the Lakers? Sixers are the only one there that could maybe build something around Simmons but what do they have besides him that would make the Pelicans bite?

The league can't force a team to play someone minutes & their opening up a whole can of worms if they tried that shyt.

Lmao he’s a top 5 player

Exactly, and I don't think Laker fans fully understand the situation. You didn't trade for PG or Kawhi because you would've had to overpay and how well did that turn out. You either pay now or he gets traded to Boston and then the same pieces get traded anyway for lesser players because you're punting another season with LeBron on roster.

Some very "well informed" Coli Basketball Experts just told me a few days ago in this very thread that their was NO WAY POSSIBLE the knicks would be interested in moving Kristaps in a AD deal :mjlol:

He can't force anything, their going to trade him but their doing it when they want. Him sitting out like Kawhi did don't matter since it just helps the Pelicans draft position & their looking like a complete tear down is coming anyway.

Pels just out here yappin about this trade when we want to bullshyt. Draft position? Yeah, they can move up a couple of spots but its about 4 or 5 teams they arent going to catch, they will just force those teams to have a royal tankfest. Aint shyt to tear down really, they arent a playoff team with AD. too many variables to bank on Boston. Kyrie, playoff success with Tatum and Brown re-emerging, injuries, etc...also everyone running with this narrative that Boston has the best package....they dont. They have the MOST to offer but that doesnt mean its the best, its subjective depending on organizational direction. If Demps is trying to save his job, he isnt going to do with protected picks this year, next year etc....he needs some fukkin ballers. Lavine, Markkenen, WCjr, and picks is just as good a deal if not better than what Boston will do. Not sure Chicago would risk that, but I aint sure Ainge gonna give up what everyone thinks he will either if AD doesnt let them know he will re-sign.

I was in that thread with you breh. I really dont see KP playing for the Knicks beyond his contract, but see, we were speculating this already and now if this shyt is true and in the public, now it reduces his value.

man this lineup will be trash :mjlol:

PG - Rondo
SG - Lance
SF - Bron
PF - AD
C - McGee
6 - Melo (lmao)

But the lakers lineup in the 2019-2020 season will be :merchant:

The New Orleans Lakers lineup would be nice tho

PG - Lonzo
SG - Holiday
SF - Ingram
PF - Randle
C - Okafor
6 - Zubac

Where’s Kuzma in that lineup :gucci:

So it's gonna be AD and LeBron surrounded by trash?:dwillhuh:

Just until the end of the season, depending on how much time AD has to miss those two by themselves are doing damage in April.

Then in the offseason the Lakers are the team FAs take pay cuts to join and win rings

They don't want to win a bunch of games now though, so they aren't catching the bottom, but their trying not to win random games & push their pick further back. The tear down is going to be trying to move Mirotic, Randle, & Moore before the deadline.

The Boston deal is whatever but it does the Pelicans no good to not let it play out & see what the offer is. I'm assuming Demps ain't making it to an AD deal anyway, but if he does then New Orleans has fukked up even worse :yeshrug:
