Cause In theory AD is way better than boogie

None of the young dudes have impressed me this year...Ingram especially has been disappointing , i say fukk it...ship em all if it lands AD now
Imo Kuzma and Zubac stay at least. You need depth to win more then once.

Nah if you knew that, I trade this up coming top pick (Silver would probably make it number 1), and they can choose 2 of Trier, Knox and Frank.

Have Porz, AD, KD
I thought about that but i would only trade this pick if it wasnt number 1

Been my guy from the moment I saw him st Kentucky. Has all the talent to be the best in the league.

This had to be done if he want to take his proper place in NBA history.

As far as the deal, there is no way if New Orleans deals with the Lakers that they take anything less than...

Kuzma
Ball
Ingram
And probably Zubac

KCP is a given for the money to work.

What Magic should do is explore what it would take for AD AND Jrue.

If Magic doesn't get this eeal done now, the Celtics just have to much to offer for the Pelicans to ignore.

in theory you are correct, they should trade Nico, Julius, and Jrue but Demps would be numbering his own days if he cant get good value PLAYERS back...picks arent going to save his job which I think he would obviously like to do.

I'm also assuming they'll probably clear house fairly soon, in theory somebody higher up would make the call that they aren't trading AD until the summer & somewhere in there they would get Demps out but then you're changing the entire course of the franchise without a GM or one coming in & having to deal with this right off the jump :manny:

Lakers should add 2 first round picks and do the upmost to keep their existing young talent. The more I think about it, they probably need to keep one of Brandon Ingram or Lonzo Ball. They are the most versatile defenders of the group, while Kuzma fits in seamlessly with a potential LeBron/AD pairing, I wonder what his upside is as a finished product overall compared to the previous two. If AD isn't moved at the deadline he'll probably be a Celtic unless Ainge gets cold feet again :mjlol:

Brandon Ingram/Lonzo
Kuzma
KCP
Hart/Zubac
2 FRP's.

Keep two of the young core while still having some cap-space in the summer for a 2nd tier guy :ehh:

The more I think about NO is probably gonna wait it out. The Knicks might have the number one pick or they can get Boston picks. Windhorst was saying NO could just shut him down with that injury he has

It makes absolutely no sense to trade him in season. The deal they would get now would still be on the table in July.

So if you're NO, how can you play him for the rest of the season with it being public that he wants to be traded? he's not a Kanter that you can just bury on the bench and not worry about bad press. It will be the talking point of every NO game for the rest of the season. Do you really want that hanging over your franchise?

Will he still be coachable knowing he doesn't care about the teams win/loss record or making the playoffs because he's gone as soon as the opportunity presents itself?
Can you imagine how hostile the home crowd will be towards him as the season drags along?

People booing every time he touches the ball for an entire half of the season?

Will Team chemistry be killed because everyone knows he doesnt want to be there?

Will they continue to pass him the ball knowing he isnt going to war with the team every night but rather biding his time until he can walk out the door?

will his demeanor and body language be that of someone trying to win in the city of New Orleans or will he turn into a malcontent?

That's too many variables to deal with if I'm running the franchise and could cause an already fragile fan base to completely turn on them. I think now would be selling high, because it gives the team trading for AD at least a full year to convince him to stay before having to trade him.

I feel like they are forced to make a trade now to mitigate any potential long term damage holding him to long (beyond how damaging it can be losing a top 5 player).

Orlando still hasn't recovered from losing Dwight.
They trash with him , they trash without him. Boston has the most to offer & they will have a full year to convince him to stay.

Breh...I know most folks in N.O. don't care about the Pels, but imagine rooting for a squad whose franchise player is "shut down" for the rest of the season (in essence he f*ckin quit) because of a finger injury...:stopitslime:

This is Kawhi levels of hoe shyt.
