Maybe but they won a championship so whatever happens next was worth itSo does anyway see a time where trading all of those future picks and young talent for AD may cause a long term issue from the team development perspective.

Well when they brought lebron there it should've been understood that they had to do everything possible to win now....this is what I keep trying to tell a couple of Lakers fans I know. But they are under the assumption they can still trade for stars. They gave up a haul got for AD and for a ring...but they won’t have a lot of assets to trade for in the future.
I wouldn’t have cared about the future then or now, but they had to have more of an assumption that AD could be a #1 option, and potentially be one in the absence of LeBron. I don’t think that’s very likely. Idk how long Bron plans on playing, but they’re pretty much stuck with riding those two out, scouting well in the draft, and praying they can keep on convincing good players to come for dirtSo does anyway see a time where trading all of those future picks and young talent for AD may cause a long term issue from the team development perspective.

No because lakers lost of injuries. AD/Bron injured Dlo or Ingram still aint enoughAgreed, but I do feel like if you keep Ingram or D'lo and maybe trade Kuzma instead for AD you're still in the playoffs right now and still in contention for another chip.

Most laker fans wanted Kuz gone. Hell we were saying Hart>>Kuz but for some reasonn the media loved Kuz and made it sound like he was a future starIdk man, picture Ingram giving you 20-25 in Kuzma's spot. I don't think y'all lose that series.
if you keep ingram instead of Kuzma, you either
1 - never get AD because NO wanted Ingram
or
2 - Lose Ingram in a year anyway because the salary cap exists and you don't have 158 million to pay him while also paying AD his max and extending Lebron
seems ya'll always overlook the fact that Kuzma's 2 million dollar deal is the sole reason he wasn't included in the deal, aside from the fact that the Pelicans coveted BI
a lot of our fanbase is responsible for thisMost laker fans wanted Kuz gone. Hell we were saying Hart>>Kuz but for some reasonn the media loved Kuz and made it sound like he was a future star
Do you think we fire Vogel and hire Kidd to hold on to him?
