True, but BI is still young and gets a lot of praise on potential upside. Last player who I saw getting that type of praise at that age was Giannis.

I think you are getting Kuz and Ingram mixed up on the defensive end. Ingram is a good defender Kuz is the trash one.

Ingram has been a net negative player every season he's been in the league; he's not the complete and utter sieve Kuzma is but to say he's a "good" defender at this point in his career, especially for a wing player with his wingspan, would be disingenuous. Everything from his counting STL/BLK stats, DRTG, defensive on/off numbers, and just honestly the eye-test as an unbiased non-Lakers fan supports that. The only good defender, and the only player even close to being a net positive player overall (but still a net negative for his career ) in the Lakers hypothetical package for AD is Ball.

yea seems like you dont know wtf you are talking about. He is an outstanding defender and will likely be an elite defender for years to come. Just say you didnt watch him play. Even kyrie had to give him props defensively. But let you tell it he's trash.

People know what they saw. He looked far superior to siakim, dude was showing ALL the tools from defense, mid range, slashing, 3point range, playmaking, rebounding, etc. Anybody that watched him during that stretch know he looked special. That's usually how it happens, out of nowhere. He isnt being overhyped, he has that much potential and will be an all star for years to come.
