It’s not gonna present itself that quickly.

If I’m the Hornets I don’t want Lavar Ball in my city.

Brooklyn has a team where if you add a superstar without losing anyone you’ve got something brewing. Gutting the Nets for AD just makes them Pels East

That's the thing, I don't think you can really "gut" the Nets.

If you’re gonna get your ass beat on a nightly basis, the last thing you need is Lavar Ball commentary about how miserable they are and how they need LaMelo. There’s no LeBron in New Orleans to shut him up. Send Lonzo to NO and Lavar Ball will be lobbying for Gentry’s job before it’s all said and done.

NO would be dumb to not wait for Boston to be able to trade the pick. Even waiting to see if the knicks get the top pick and trading for Zion plus extra

You really could though. Marks has a team where even if at worst you add a Tobias Harris you have a playoff team every year. He’s assembled a deep roster that just needs that A level star. Now if AD was a free agent then BK should absolutely be an option, but not at the expense of having to find a new supporting cast. With BK the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
