That's one potential deal that could be on the table, it's not the end all be all.

The point is you're selling yourself short if you don't explore every option that'll be at your disposal in the summer. Doing a trade this week is beyond stupid unless LA literally guts itself of every asset.

I guess it depends on how serious A.D is about playing in L.A., Because if the Knicks acquire A.D, it's a lot more likely that Kyrie, K.D or both sign with Knicks.

The Knicks cant acquire AD. Acquire means "trade" in NBA. They have no assets to give New Orleans. He can only sign there. And he can only sign at the end of next season. He wont start next year as Pelican because he'll have to get moved by the off season while everyone else has viable assets. The Knicks can only sign free agents. They are shooting for Kyrie, KD and Kawhi. AD isnt a free agent and will moved only via trade.
