Another WWE Name Change.

I saw it somewhere, but it made sense:

It seems like they can't have names with more than 4 syllables. Maybe it's to help the crowd chant the name, or maybe he just figures his audience is too stupid to care about someone whose name is too long or something, but it checks out. Mustafa Ali would have been 5, so they yanked a name. Elias Samson = 5, took the last name, etc. It's stupid, but it's dumb enough that it seems like some shyt Vince would think actually matters.

When people chant "Cena" or "We want Cena" "Cena Sucks" no one is trying to put John in front of that.

People can think for themselves which makes all these changes stupid.

The only positive I can see out of Ali losing his first name is if someone manages to get an "Ali bomaye" chant going for him that catches on. But... dude's wrestling style isn't hard-hitting enough to justify it, plus... ya know. WWE fans likely ain't gonna do it.

At least with Andrade, the name is distinctive enough that you know who's being talked about. Ali could be anybody. Why take away the more recognizable part of his name?

Exactly, these dudes are already generic enough by having regular names and no real gimmicks or back stories as it is, now they are obsessed with making them even more generic.
