That’s the biggest difference between the current era and previous ones. You had the top guys, but you also had a lot of midcarders that were over and if they wanted, could’ve been moved up. This was an era where Crash Holly, Godfather, Headbanger, Shamrock, Val Venis, Al Snow, etc had nice crowd reactions, yet there’s guys today that may be better in the ring than them, but aren’t nearly over like them.
