I don't get why the Democrats get blamed for these attempts. How would it help the Dems? If Trump got killed it's an automatic win for the Republicans. Trump becomes a Martyr. They add DeSantis to the J.D. Vance ticket. Kamala pretty much stands down the rest of the campaign. Republicans get all the sympathy and "unity" votes to "heal the country". They sweep with the House and Senate too.

People need to start looking at the GOP establishment. They are the ones who would benefit the most from a Trump assassination. They get to replace a wild card like Trump (who will likely lose) with someone who is a by-the-book Republican who is easier to control and would beat Kamala.
