Travis (Achilles) Williams, a popular personal trainer and YouTube personality in Atlanta, was struck and killed by a freight train while shooting an outdoor workout Tuesday.
A beloved Atlanta fitness trainer who amassed thousands of online followers with motivational YouTube videos was reportedly struck and killed by a train while a friend filmed him jumping rope near the tracks.
Travis (Achilles) Williams, 30, who touted himself as "your trainer's favorite trainer," died Tuesday afternoon after what's being called a tragic accident that eerily mirrors another famed bodybuilder’s death in January.
Williams, who was a father to a 6-year-old daughter, was working out in Buckhead, Fulton County, when he apparently misjudged the width of the oncoming freight train in relation to the rails, 11Alive reported.

The father of two was reportedly jumping rope near these tracks when the train began rolling through. Williams apparently misjudged the width of the train and was fatally struck.
The friend shooting his workout was also struck by the barreling locomotive, but survived while being knocked down a hill.
"Everyone knew Achilles *Travis* Williams had a unbelievable spirit and energy. He lived his 30 years better than many will live their lifetime," a GoFundMe page created for his daughter and his claimed no-profit foundation, A to Z, read. "Travis was truly one of a kind and his legacy of helping and loving others will continue."

In January, actor, model and bodybuilder Greg Plitt was struck and killed by a train in Burbank, Calif., while filming a promo shoot along the rails.
Video taken from the Metrolink commuter train captured the 37-year-old running along the tracks ahead of an oncoming train when he suddenly disappeared off camera.

Actor, model and bodybuilder Greg Plitt was also killed in January while shooting a promo video along tracks in Burbank, Calif.
Williams and Plitt's senseless deaths make up just a sliver of countless others along the nation’s rails, many involving teenagers.
Such is the case with 19-year-old Brittney Silva who was walking tracks near San Leandro, Calif., when she was struck and killed last May.
The teen was likely deafened by earbuds to warning cries while arguing on her cellphone with her father. When she was hit she was flung approximately 50 yards from the track, authorities said.
Three months earlier a 17-year-old Florida teen was also struck while walking along tracks in Daytona Beach.
Giovanni Gonzalez tried to jump out of the way just as the locomotive came barreling through but wasn't able to escape in time.
