Damn.... So7 niccas STILL got shyt to say about Alex The Great, even when he wins....... Smh..... No one thought the Cards were world beaters, but they were a solid team. We made them look more garbage than they really are. That's a sign of strong play and good players/teams. Just accept it and keep it moving.

The Cards were holding all-pro QB's to meager numbers, but yet some of these dudes would love to just glance over that because that doesn't help the "Down with Alex" agenda.

Week 1 - Russel Wilson, 18-34 1/1 62.5 rating
Week 2 - Tom Brady 28/46 1/1 79.6 rating
Week 3 - Vick 17/37 0/0 64.8 rating
Week 4 - Tannehill 26/41 1/2 86.5 rating
Week 5 - Bradfoed 7/21 2/1 69.7 rating
Week 6 - Fitzpatrick 18/32 0/0 68.9
Week 7 - Ponder 8/17 1/2 35.5 rating

Week 8 - Smith 18/19 3/0 157.1 rating

Can you run the numbers for the other teams (Vikings, Jets, Giants most notably) Alex has played or does that not run with your "Alex is elite OMGZZZ LOOK AT DA CHECKDOWNZZZ" agenda?

It's convenient that you only use Alex's stats when they fit your agenda.

You're the same clown that wanted Crabtree cut so your credibility is already

You can't cry when we criticize him for having shyt games if you're going to blow him up when he has "statistically" good games. Pretty sure if Romo had a similar game you'd still think he sucks, wouldn't you?

Pump your chest when dude is consistently good against good defenses and isn't living off of underneath shyt. 5.6 Ypercatch, YAC out of this world against a shyt team and you're puffing your chest?

You were so quiet during the Giants, Jets, Vikings and Seahawks games.

Alex had a good game, it's just the wide body of evidence tells me he won't replicate it. As a Niners fan I hope he proves me wrong.

4 good games, 4 bad games. Sounds about right. He's a mediocre QB who will have the occasional good game.

Whenever Alex Smith has a good game, Jlova has to mention how his QB Rating is misleading :russ:

QB rating for the most part is misleading if you don't actually watch the games. If yall didn't crown him as an elite champion and try to throw his performances in peoples faces, there wouldn't be as much criticism when he does have good performances.

After ever "good" game I gotta hear how great he is and how I was wrong about him.

From watching the game last night, Alex had a pretty good game. The 18/19 completions was great, but some of the decisions weren't so good, most notably the sacks that he took. Other than that, I was pleased with his play tonight.
Going forward, I'd like to see him get rid of the ball quicker (throw it away) rather than wait for someone to come open, especially in a game where we're dominating.

I agree that the rating isn't the be-all end-all. I just find it funny that you constantly shyt on your team's QB

f yall didn't crown him as an elite champion and try to throw his performances in peoples faces, there wouldn't be as much.

hahahaha. Who exactly has said this?

What wide body of evidence?

Are you going back to Nolan/Singletary era? Because under Harbaugh, that's a goofy statement.

Am I supposed to discount everything he's done in 7 years outside of Harbaugh :what:? Does this evaluation apply to anyone else on the team? In football?

Also what exactly has he done in the Harbaugh era to make you believe he'd replicate a performance like last night on a consistent basis? He's been inconsistent this season and his past season was hardly elite, especially considering how he ended it.

Sorry but I don't see how you make a decade long commitment to an average QB at best. I gotta thank the MNF broadcast for reminding me Alex has never thrown for 4 tds in his entire career. If that doesn't scream pedestrian QB...

Yes, yes you are.

Because if you had any knowledge of the situation you would know that Nolan/Singletary were impossible to play under as a QB.

And aside from that, why look back on 5 years ago to discuss a players talents when the last year and a half is what we're actually dealing with.

Who the fukk cares if he's ever thrown 4 td's in his career. what kinda star whore shyt is that? He accounted for 4 vs. NO in the playoffs when we needed it most.

Because the body of a players career is a good measure of his ceiling? This includes this season where he's hardly been the QB worth a long term commitment you are trying to portray.

You say I'm a "star whore" for quoting his stats, yet you continuously obsess over any favourable stat to his favour. You mention he threw for 4 against NO, then when the Giants game is brought up to underline his inconsistency, you talk about his lack of weapons. Which one is it? You can't always have it both ways. Seems like you're invested in Alex emotionally for whatever reason and can't begin to evaluate him objectively.
