You and every cop needs to realize that implicit bias plays a big role in the disproportionate killing of black suspects. If you want to make a difference, please read about these studies and demand Fair and Impartial Policing training NATIONWIDE. Denying that there is a problem does not make it go away.

I am an ex-cop, not working in that field anymore.
In police academy, no one is taught to shoot black people in an effort to kill them off. During field training, no one is taught to shoot black people in an effort to kill them off. In police academy, there are even black instructors.
When it comes to fairness and impartial policing, I did that. And there are other cops who do that. I am a minority. I was impartial. So if I ticketed someone, it was because they failed to obey a traffic law, not because they were black. I would apply fairness to all drivers, white black, Hispanic and Asian or whatever else. If I gave a warning for an offense to a white driver, I would do the same for a black, Hispanic or Asian driver.

No one ever got shot by me. And actually, most cops go through their career never taking a shot.
I'm not denying there is a problem. You are assuming I am denying it. Actually, there are cops out there who are prejudiced and racists. I saw it in the way they talked. It was subtle. They aren't the majority though. Our police department had hundreds of cops. There are thousands of police officers across the US. Those who make the wrong choices or fail to go by standard operating procedures and training are going to get jammed up and it is of their own fault.
If you think all cops are out to kill black people, then you are stereo-typing all cops based on the action of bad cops.
All police departments want to be fair and impartial because what they really want to do is provide safety and peace. They want to filter out people who will probably be bad cops. There is constant training provided yearly which includes racial profiling, at least in my police department they did because they wanted to remain complaint to be an accredited police department.
The number of rejected police applications was huge by my previous department. They interview applicants and put out questions to filter out people who aren't good candidates, like those who may have a racist or prejudice mentality.

Black people need to economically and socially punish black people who take public stands like this. He's literally being detrimental to black people by making this about "black on black crime" when this is about police murdering black people in the streets. Every race kills each other, but that doesn't take away their right to moral indignation when targeted by other groups based on their race/culture.

Only black people are expected to take genocide in stride because there are black people who happen to kill where they live.

If your idea of freedom is to be a pacifist and just happily comply every single time a cop harasses you just for being black or standing on a corner or having some old nosy cac lady call the cops on you then great. Not everyone is like that and they should not have to be routinely shot until the adopt this ideology. In other areas, you can be pulled over daily just for being black. Is it realistic to expect every black man to have their best face on to have to deal with being pulled over every single time? We have seen that taking actions that are as simple as, "What did I do? Its just a cigar"

Why the fukk am I living in North Miami for the past 25 years in a city thats 60% black and have only seen 1 black cop? Why are all the others white men from random places like Iowa, Texas, racist central florida etc etc. Isn't it better to have black cops that will actually see you as a potential uncle, brother, son, dad, etc.

These questions are better than simply putting your head down.

It's a bad look for cops who are trying to do a good job.
I've pulled over drivers who had a concealed permit and let me know ahead of time. I followed officer safety tips when it comes to traffic stops and the driver says he's armed. This is stuff I learned in police academy and in field training. There are going to be citizens who are armed and have a valid concealed carry permit, and you don't want to get jammed up shooting them for a bad reason, but you don't want to get shot by a citizen looking to harm you too. So, there's a balance. I have no idea what this cop did, step by step that is, because it went down pretty bad. I'm guessing he never "walked" through a traffic stop where the driver stated he had a concealed carry permit. There's a simple officer safety technique to provide safety without needing to draw your weapon once the driver states he's armed with a permit.

Same thing with the Alton Sterling shooting. There were two cops. It appeared that he was not compliant during the arrest, but they weren't controlling the suspect with pain compliance techniques. These are jiujitsu techniques that let you control the suspect. Just watch older UFC fights where a Gracie brother was fighting a larger and more muscular fighter. I've been to incidents where the suspect was not compliant or even close to it. There was a physical struggle to get him cuffed, but it didn't come down to a shooting.

There are thousands of cops out there in the US and these cases aren't representative of all cops.

Don't know why cats ain't posted up outside the police station. Learning the routes and watching the shifts cops take. They think they fearful of black people now. Imagine when the presure is truly on. They won't know how to deal. Are there any laws about posting up outside a police station?

They'd just make a new law where that's a felony. That shyt would pass overnight

I was a street cop, not a sergeant or the chief. That's like asking Michael Vick why he doesn't do more to stop all other football players around the NFL and NCAA Div I teams from beating their wives and girlfriends.

either she was receiving crazy messages or even support messages that were overwhelming while she was dealing with a personal problem

or she was advised by a laywer to take it down, her life is about to change, you don't want the police sniffing through your facebook or social media and using everything they can find to discredit you. They already starting...that pic of the guy, I'm curious if they put it out. Showing him with sagging pants, gold chain, etc etc (not saying there's anything wrong with that but would seem like a pic the police would use to incite the belief that he was a thug).
