Not at all. Black people are pretty pacified. This forum denounces any discussion of potential black solidarity or black people collectively positioning themselves higher for the future.

You had Oscar Grant, Sean Bell, Trayvon Martin and countless other examples and opportunity. Across America there are halloween parties going on right now with nothing but black face and a lot of the party goers are black and completely ignoring it for fear of checking and losing their non-black friends. Black people lost. :flabbynsick:
right! But the Wayans can make millions dressing up like "White Chicks" and it's all gravy.

There is gonna be a big racial explosion in our life time.
and most people involved will have no idea about the reasons why.

Yup. And the white population will be the target of it, and they won't even know it. :banderas:

The reason I say this is because it's not only black people getting tired of their bullshyt, it's latinos, asians, indians, arabs all people of color are getting tired of their shyt not only in America but all across the world. Because anywhere you go in this world there's some white men that have fukked with that land and it's people in some way or another. Whether it be in the middle east, Africa, or Asia. People ain't gonna be taking that shyt too much longer without some type of revolt or backlash. And with that white power structure constantly dwindling down as people of color become more of the majority it's gonna be hard for them fend off what's eventually coming to them.

:ld: I sense sarcasm but that's bullshyt to me as well. White Chicks, Chappelle Show, Chris Rock and all that other liberal laced c00nism dressed up as "responsible social commentary" is everything but responsible because it is black people left with the feeling of being fukked like a prostitute and not even compensated. It helps white people laugh along and at our pain but never indicts them as the root cause of it. That's why it's not "funny"..

Not offended. :manny:

Maybe if it was a pitch black face with big red lips I would be, but this? Nah.

I don't think she was trying to make fun of black people. That wasn't her intent.

There was a lot of that from the responses on the various sites I went to related to this story. It's crazy how whites are so readily given the benefit of the doubt. ESPECIALLY when it comes to situations like this one. And yet at the same time, let a black person do something even the least bit out of order and see if they're given the same leeway. :what:There was no reason for her to even bother with that makeup. People would have recognized the character by the hairstyle...and ya know, the NAME TAG with the character's name on it. Given the virulent racism that whites have hit us with both past AND present in this country, why should I think 'oh well I'm sure she didn't mean anything by it'? And, even if she didn't mean any harm (which I doubt), that doesn't make what she did any less racist. The dikkheaded caucasoids who put on minstrel shows didn't think what they did was intended to be all that bad either. Somehow people have it in their minds that you've gotta be out here wearing a white hood and burning crosses into someone's lawn to be considered racist. :what:

Empathy gap. White people collectively do not acknowledge our humanity. Whenever I use to travel across country and drive I always did so in uniform. People would always ask me why?

I would tell them because if I was in need of help or in danger no one would stop for a 6 foot 170 pound black man, but people will stop for a service member.

In the scale of what's wrong with black America...a white person in a black face doesn't even scratch the surface.

When the mason finally breaks through the limestone wall with his hammar, it might seem like it was the final strike that broke through, but the truth is it was the hundred strikes beforehand. The point is that things can snowball if we aren't watchful. This particular incident isn't important and it might not even be malicious, but the thinking man is rarely surprised.

Racist bytch from a racist Utah family. No surprises here.

The whole "are you offended/are you not offended" is a bullshyt, binary perspective on these issues, created by whites to funnel people into categories that makes it easier for them to argue their own racist agenda. It also plays into the idea that blacks are just "oh so sensitive" and that problematic things in the world need not be discussed unless they hit some sort of arbitrary ceiling of being "truly appalling". Let's stop approaching these issues from that mentality.

Am I "offended". What does that even mean? It's 12 AM on a cold Sunday morning...I'm just a guy browsing the net. I see something I don't like, and all of a sudden, everyone else is accusing ME of being "outraged". I think she's likely a bigoted person, and I also think that whites are too quick to play naive and coy in regards to blackface. There isn't really much more to say. I wouldn't want to hang out with her.
