I LIKED IT
MY GIRL WAS IN THE THEATER SCARED AS SHIIT AND I THOUGHT THE PACING WAS ON POINT
DONT THINK I WATCHED PART 2 AND DONT REMEMBER WATCHING PART 1 MUCH BUT THIS WAS COOL AS A STAND-ALONE HORROR FLICK TBH

The Nun is def the worst of this universe, and I haven’t even seen the second Annabelle. With that, this movie was cool, I enjoyed some of the stories behind the items in the room and eff Danielle I was hoping they would take her soul lol.
I wish they would find a way to animate the doll though without it looking janky, but it’s always a hope of mine watching. I really liked the demon from this one although it got only a bit of screen time.
Wan keeps straddling between creating these mischievous and truly malevolent characters that prevent the movies from being as scary as they could be, unlike the Conjuring demon.
All that said, my fav object was the Shinto warrior I think it’s called-they should have given more time to those caskets, the ferryman and the Hellhound, the “violent” dress was just okay and why didn’t they put that stuff in a farmhouse/garage, I’ll be damned if I go to sleep with all that demon memorabilia in my house!

I finally saw it. I wish it would have been a lot more heavier and scarier.
I think all the goofy shyt like the boy simping on the girl should have just been left out and they make it a lot more darker - any other movie, he would have been the first one to get murked by a demon. With all the spirits let loose it should have been more of a rollercoaster ride and they got off way too easily. The part with that haunted TV or whatever it was predicting the chick covered in blood and screaming, they could have done more with that. I mean, the movie already has an adult rating...why then do they keep the horror lightweight? OK you get that feeling of dread, but when something does happen it's predictable. I felt cheated.
The monkey toy didn't get ANY shine at all.
The wedding dress demon was cool.
The coin eyes were meh.
The Japanese warrior was dope, but more should have been done on that.
The future telling TV was cool, but again - why show the chick all covered in blood if that's not gonna happen?

I thought it was good. TCU movies are a lil too "safe" IMO though. There's hardly any cursing and the violence never really gets graphic or intense like that. They are pretty much glorified R rated movies.
The screams coming from that Japanese Samurai statue though.

Creation the best one of the Annabelle series. I'm 30 years old I can't enjoy seeing a bunch of teenagers running around doing stupid shyt. The lil girls in Creation had more sense than this Daniela bytch. I want to turn it off but I feel like I gotta finish it to complete the cypher

This was just ok if I remember it correctly. Better than the The Conjuring 3 for sure.

I like some of the Conjuring flicks but i just watched this because I'm bored & this might be 1 of the worst horror films I've ever watched.
