Actually, white Americans commit gun-related murders at a significantly higher rate than whites (and non-whites) in Belgium. It's just Ann being Ann, though.

@this bullshyt. America has had the highest crime rate in the industrialized world since the Jim Crow era. I read somewhere that the highest murder rate in any city in U. S. history was in some small qaq town in Louisiana in like 1909 or something like that. The murder rate in San Fran during the gold rush rivaled most cities during the crack era. Dudes was offing each other left and right for that Scrooge McDuck.

so you agree with the gist of her idea of analyzing the US by saying X race is dragging down the averages, and your response to her trolling-ass comments is "good point"?
i dont agree with anybody about anything, the question was asked will the US stay on top and i pointed out the test scores of minorities portends a us decline because the minority population is growing, education is key to competitiveness and you essentially have a growing class of people that are not part of the education system
so the point is that for the us to stay on top it has to bring up the test scores and other stats concerning african americans and latinos in the us
do you have a problem confronting reality?
basically I find both what Ann said and what you said as off color cause it discounts minorities as an integral part of the country. I do think we can make comparisons demographically within a country but the aspect of "well, the country's stats would be ok if you just counted white folk..." rather raises my mental eyebrows.
