It's funny/sad how asian societies in general worship and over-represent white blond/blue-eyed people in their cartoons when they're not even kin. If they never represented any blacks that's fine i can't strife since they got their own people. but if you look at most popular anime/nintendo video games you will see they LOVE to add those european traits in all protagonists which will just further that worship mentality since their kids are seeing this shyt and come to learn that europeans are superior than their own

The thing I hate the most is that 90% of all anime creators draw black characters with those oversized lips like damn you japanese muthafukka we don't all look like that?!!? At least take cues from the boondocks... they are fukking biased as fukk when it comes to character design... they don't draw characters that look asian at all... and that's been a point of contention for years...

Like if you look at Disney which has it's own fukked up history their animators at least do their homework on what they draw and how they design...

Also anything by Shinichiro Watanabe is good for diverse represention including black people. He seems to have taken a strong impression away from visiting the states and places like New York and tries to recreate that atmosphere in his shows.

A lot of people said that muchiko was the stereotypical black woman archetype. But I still loved because it was of the few anime series where I got to see myself and people who looked like me.
