Is there a benefit of getting things I don’t want?

Here's a benefit - someone in Japan had their island buying turnips for 590 and they wanted any pink items as their entry fee. I had a bunch in my storage that I never wanted so I just gave them to her to sell my turnips over 3 trips (I still have more left but she had to leave and closed her island).

nvm not worth the hassle, getting into daisy groups is easy and cheap.

just copped another 400k worth and im in another queue lol

edit: made like 3.2m today. This stalk market shyt is easy and it’s nice that I don’t have to farm tarantulas etc (unless there’s a specific benefit to that)

I fukks with none of that time travelling shyt, so I gotta no advice on that at all. :francis:

But now that you know how to deal with the Stalk Market and got a few mil, you might not feel hardpressed to hunt/fish.

Hope that doesn't ruin the game for you, in terms of drive and what's not like it has for some folk. Plus there's gonna be content coming out for this game for a bit that more than likely will require said coin.

I'm at the point where I'm bored. I'll play events etc but everyday playing is done for now.

@ridge this is what I was getting at with losing the grind. The stalk market been a blessing and a curse cause it's helped me pay off my house way quicker than I was farming and selling bugs/fish to them special folk (CJ and Flick) that buy em at a high price.

Back then, it's like I had a purpose. Like imma try and raise 100K a day doing shyt. Imma play flowers and look for villagers.

I got that money, paid for my shyt, and just spend my time tossing all them fukking Seabass shyts back or making themed rooms in my house for a minute.

I'm not bored, but I'm coasting now and it's taken away a wee bit of the fun I had grinding, but I'm still enjoying.

I’ve noticed I’ve played less today already :sadcam:

it was nice working to grind for something everyday but the good thing is my island is still barebones and I’m also getting into the QR code scene for clothes etc

I been gathering shyt slowly but surely to make themes and shyt around my island and house. Plus I found the fastest way to level up Villager friendship, which ironically, requires gold.

Gifting them expensive furniture really boosts your rapport with them it seems.

And I haven't even unlocked the custom workshop with Tom Nook as yet, I've been holding off since I was building up my house. Really need to get into that designing shyt. I need Wu-Tang Fabrics!
