My g :wow:

thanks for taking the time write that up breh much appreciated.

Not a problem, man. I just hope it ain't confusing since I often explain to little using too many words when I'm trying to explain something at times.

You'll find your own groove soon and can tuck into that and be on your way since there is no time limit to do shyt, outside of seasonal activities the game introduces to you.

And you'll only lose money on the market if you lay about your own island and gamble on getting a big payout since it might not happen.

Obviously you'd like to cash out for mad profit, hoping to sell on at 400-600 like you see folk doing online, and naively think that your island will randomly generate that kind of payout, sometimes even foolishly (I did this) refusing to sell on your own island if you see it hovering around 250-350, thinking that it will rise.

Now while most of us in here will be posting our prices for others to utilize, don't hesitate on checking out the Turnip communities on reddit and dealing with the hassle of trying to jump onto a high paying island.

I did that last week and paid off for the last house upgrade. That's another thing I recommend you doing, especially if you managed to Max out the storage capacity of your current house level and you got a bunch of furniture and stuff out on the beach like you got evicted like my island setup right now. :dead: The house storage rises whenever you level up and the last tier gives you 1600 slots. :whew:

Whatever profit you make, you should keep until you make enough money to be able to buy atleast two FULL inventories worth of Turnips. Granted you've maxed out your inventory space

At what point of the week do turnips peak in prices? Is there anywhere to forecast it?

certain stuff, yea. if you have a construction project, a villager moving out or in, flowers growing, a fruit or money tree growing, or you ordered something coming in the mail. a lot of real time based and seasonal events too, including your birthday. hard to explain really you just gotta play it and put time into

As silly as they may seem, they are actually quite helpful in helping you make bank if you got the patience to stick with it. Before the groups started to spread out on Reddit, there was this thing called this website called the Stalk Market that did the exact same but in a way more streamlined manner.

Folks would post their island prices and you'd jump into the thread and be put into a Queue using some system/program (I never used it) and it was a way easier way to keep track of who was waiting in line to join your island as opposed to what they do on reddit (The post your fave village shyt is a bit of a post marker).

But Nintendo started to crack down on that whole Stalk Market shyt 'cause basically the people that ran the website setup a Patreon to keep it running and I think they were accepting donations ontop of that and Nintendo doesn't want to hear you making TOO much money in this game and ANY actual money with it offline, so they cracked down on it hard. Plus, the a$$holes and scammers were in full force on that thing, posting Fradulent prices and doctored photos to trick you into coming to their island, paying a mandatory buy in (I saw folk charging upwards of 500K to a whole mil just to get on an island that was selling turnips for 400:mjtf:) , taking your gold and then kicking you out of the island.

That's why the reddit groups like ACturnips became so popular in the midst of all this shyt. The people asking you random questions like "Fave VIllager, or what's your fave song" and all that shyt, use the responses to keep track of whom all they've let in or something like that, from what I've been told. Plus, they make it known that no host that's hosting there can charge a buy in and tipping isn't enforced, but welcomed.

So, yeah. I had two inventory full worth of Turnips lastweek that I was trying to sell, spammed a bunch of those posts on Reddit, got into two 600 selling islands and made, BANK.

So yeah, post and wait until you get a DM giving you the code so you can hop on and sell. It's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it once that link comes through.
