Except no he wasn't. What he said goes against data. White men are no where close to being the poorest of the poor. So his entire point was based on bullshyt.

Then he argued the whole racism ain't the problem it's classism. Which is again.... Bullshyt

We have to stop allowing people who bring no data , to be allowed talking about black folks. Which is Yvette's main point

I thought he was talking about small town whites in those coal towns and swamps, and cacs who live in trailers? I dont know if there is data to say they not,but we know they poor as shyt......My only problem is that just on the surface nikka sounded scary as hell:mjlol:

But after reading what he said, seems like he's talking from a more strategic standpoint....I dont agree anybody is above criticism, but I do think some people should be given benefit of the doubt.....If you assume to know where his heart is at he is a black man speaking on what he thinks is the best strategic way for black people to make gains.

He is consistent, its the same reason he probaly doesnt like "militants",He thinks we should make gains quietly, not rock the system, because that will make white people mad which will make it harder for us because it will put cacs in defense mode.

I'm not one of those people who is disrespectful of the civil rights movement, unfortunatley nobody as powerful as Martin Luther King who was basically the architect, was alive to see his complete plan through...nobody had his same vision or power:mjcry:

but at the same time I respect the militant side, and he cant be arrogant acting like they way didnt work when they were assasinated.....its in poor taste first of all, second of all the civil rights movement aint exactly worked out flawlessly, there are no right and wrong answers seeing as though black folks is still fukked up as a community at large.

Good snitching ass. And not just on some Cointelpro type shyt. His brother was involved with some folks that all got jammed up, he lost his business but kept his freedom. I'll let y'all connect the dots from there. Same demo with his son too. Also heard from a few folks that AY is kin to Frank and Teddy Ward out of Oakland by way of New Orleans. I'm sure my Bay Area brehs know who they are, for those that don't I'll just say they wasn't no civil right leaders. Rumor is the whole family migratated out of NO after WW2, the Ward brothers ended up out west and 2nd cousin Andy ended up in ATL.

I can't stand them nikkas who play both sides of the fence then turn around and act all holier than thou in front of white people, and AY embodies that to me on so many levels. nikka your hands ain't clean just cuz you walked with Dr. King. That doesn't absolve you of being shady. Been up on this nikka, but it looks like he finally stepped in his own shyt and now the world nows he's full of it too.

It's funny because a caller who is a personal friend of AY called in and gave a term I wasn't familiar with. Said it fit AY and many other blacks perfectly. He called them "Patio negroes".

We all know what HOUSE and FIELD nikkas are, but there's also the PATIO nikka. That's basically a nikka playing both sides.

I understand exactly how they move. I'm attempting to give Andrew Young's prospective on this because I feel like I understand where he's coming from with his comments. Whether it's effective or not is matter of opinion but when he was out fighting the fight, he did eventually see some of the change he was seeking.

Of course he did, it was the compromise cacs gave them. Plush spots for him and his family as there's only so much room. In affect: classism.

I don't agree with him saying that, but you have to remember back then the Panthers had no little to no respect for the non-violence movement. They were calling King and his people c00ns and cowards just like people do on here. There were plenty of behind the scenes beef, etc. maybe all of that still weighs on him.

It's a difference in thinking. The ink of a scholar is worth more than the blood of a martyr in his eyes.

I'm not saying the things he's saying are right, but I am saying we need to have more respect if we are going to criticize an elder of that caliber.

yeah i dont agree with that line of thinking neccesarily, but its his,and elders of the civil rights movement have been consistent in this line of thinking.

I will say maybe he should know better than to come out and try to defend these monuments, and blame black people while we are in the midst of being upset.

sounds like he has a dislike of militants or black people who he feels trolls, and upsets white people:dahell:

this isnt his first time trying to undercut what he considers "militants" though, which aint cool.

there definitley are reasons he can be criticized, but as you said respectfully....this wouldnt be a problem if the younger generation had its own leaders and its own theories and solutions about whats best for black people, and actually put in the ground work to see if that theory works or not....but we mostly just get alot of debate:francis:

There are really two ways of looking at it:

Either AY and those like him 1)believe in a solution that simply doesn't work and many of us dont agree with it after seeing the results of it or 2) these cats are agents.

Nothing wrong with simply saying that many of these old heads are simply wrong/dumb its another thing to come to the conslusion that these people are agents. If theres cats are agents them the c00n title holds regardless of how ppl feel emotionally.

I don't see it but hey :hubie:

Of course you don't. That man was fighting for Blacks to have voting rights, half decent wages, housing, and schooling 2 generations ago or in his words 5 generations.

We want improvements on the current situation while he's seen it improve from Whites only water fountains and places of business. It actually makes sense why our generation really can't relate to what he is saying.

Most notably is the upward mobility of Blacks which he talks about in the interview.

I don't see it but hey :hubie:

We don't see it because it doesn't include us.

Those negroes cut a deal to live like white people. In a system designed just like the cacs. One based on class. They voted themselves the black elite.

Same way cacs have a class system where they have wealthy, and then they have trailer trash, our black politicians are supposed to be our elite followed by the rest of us.

I can see how it went down now:

:beli: "Look, ok, ok, we'll compromise. We'll allow a segment of your population into our circles. But just a small number of your....elite...if you know what I'm saying?"

:myman: :mjpls:

:ld: You guys are the leaders of your communities now. When your masses het riled up, we're going look to you to calm them down.

:myman:

:smugdraper: "In exchange YOU and YOUR kids can live amongst us because you're...not like the other negroes. You were smart enough to approach this situation in a civilized manner."

:myman:"Yessuh...and we appreciate you meeting with us suh. We'll go calm these negroes down".

I don't see integration without ownership as improvement.

I don't see participation in a racist democratic system as a gain.

If I remember right, wasn't Young a part of Carter's admin. Atlanta Blacks have been involved with fukkery involving Israel for over 40 years and going.

Damn:ohhh:

I believe all that. Honestly most rich dudes have put their hands in the bad cookie jar and sell those Bad cookies

It's one thing I find very intresting about this site is how nobody ever speaks on the American "Black elite".

We sh*t black immigrants, black people living in poverty, single mothers, black feminist, PAWG chasers, etc etc. but not a word about the "Black elite".

Idk if its because alot of the cats here aint even black, are too young to understand it, or didnt go to college but its alooooooot dirt in those circles.

What @JamilALAmin is spitting is not anything unknown which is why I have constantly said on here I can tell alot of ppl here arent around black people like they say and only go off of online conspiracies especially when it comes to Boule and Freemason stuff.

This is why I stand on my comments about HBCUs being ground zero c00n creation factories.

If you are from cities like Atl, DC, New Orleans, etc people like AY are common place.

Look at the "Cascade crew" that pretty much runs ATL, all them folks have literally the same background.

Having to deal with old heads like AY is honestly why I got off that whole Talented 10th idealology.

Cascade crew is corrupt but how would we replace them, I have no idea. I honestly came the conclusion you shouldn't just gotta take the good with the bad:yeshrug:

It's deeper than that. You really sell every part of you as well. I think we overestimate their value and underestimate how deep this occult is because that's what it is. An occult.

Only thing that can collaps the cascade crew is white people and thats because white folks allow them to exist. Theres a reason Kasim and Governer Deal are "buddy buddy" and ride that whole "we are the model for bipartisan collaboration".
