Yup if he gets his scoring average to around 20 in year two. He'll get the push. The NBA is already marketing him.

breh he'll be droppin 25 a game next year. if you take out the first month and a half, he's basically been a 20ppg player this season. and this is before a summer of honing his craft. most young players make their biggest STATISTICAL leap between their first and second professional season (see Anthony Davis, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant). 25/6/3 sounds about right to me.

Not even something that needs to be commended. If I saw a 4-5 year vet making some of the jab/pull up jumpers, some of these post plays, and the finishing I'd be impressed but to see it from a 19 y/o rookie is on some :dwillhuh: shyt.

especially when he didn't have any of that in college or to start the season. everything we're seeing right now is shyt he's worked on since the start of the season. imagine how much better he'll be after an entire off-season. :wow:

Wiggins potential is as scary and high as Anthony Davis. :banderas:

Best thing about wiggins is how quickly he learns new skills. I honestly can't imagine how good he's gonna be next year. I'd like to say he'll average like 20-6-3 but that might even be limiting him :ld:. I expect a shocking improvement of his handle by next year

thats what he's been averaging since December. next year he'll be at 25ppg. young players make their biggest statistical leap from their first to second season. except the same from young drew. the handle gon be tight too.

He's damn talented. Working with NBA trainers has done him so good. He's squaring up his body when he shoots, when he drives, etc.

The biggest change is he's using his length to get separation instead of dribbling too much and it works out much better for his offensive game because he's still not a great ball handler.

Kid is only 18-19 too. I get more T-Mac than Kobe though. Lowkey, we gonna have a pretty talented league even after Duncan, Kobe, and the like are gone. Giannis, Wiggins, Davis, Paul George, Kyrie, etc.

Giannis and Wiggins (Maybe a little Randle) are really interesting me though.

You dudes dont even know you burying yourself acting like this guy is playing at an exceptional level.

He's playing #1 option minutes while getting #1 option shot opportunities. Who couldn't put up 15/4/2 in 35 MPG??

Gotdamn... this is tooo easy schooling you nikkas. Tobias Harris is averaging 18/6/2 in 34 MPG while leading his team to minuscule amount of wins (same as Wiggins) and no one says a peep about him.
Negged and snitched on. Mods we got some trash for you to clean up.

Michael Carter Williams was 22 at the time.

y'all are gonna have to make up your mind. are we comparing age or years in the league? if we're talking about age then the kobe/tmac comparison don't make sense as neither of those players were given a green light on the worst team in the league. if we are talking about the past rookies of the year (even the last 5 years his numbers aren't anything special) but maybe you guys see something else in the kid

this is the same player that is only winning rookie of the year because jabari got hurt

When people talk about him in relation to Kobe/Tmac, they're specifically talking about how he plays, his game resembles their games. He was compared to Tmac in HS, that has been one of the most persistent comparisons for his game for the last 3 years now, and he flashes moves that he clearly got from Kobe.

The same Jabari that was averaging 12.3ppg before he got hurt?

Jabari was averaging 12.3 on better %s than Wiggins, not to mention in far less minutes and lesser Usage%.

And the Bucks were winning games. Good try tho..,

I said:

(1) he would win ROY running away......CHECK
(2) the cavs would regret trading him for Kevin Love..........CHECK
(3) he would be as good as Paul George by the end of the season.....CHECK

thats all I said he would do as a rookie. I never said he'd be Jordan as a rookie. I just said he had the body and athletic ability similar to a young michael jordan from north carolina.

(1) Jabari Parker is injured
(2) Cavs do not regret trading him
(3) He is not as good as Paul George.

Stop with your bullshyt :stopitslime:

Do you not think Jabari would have improved his game like Wiggins? I think the ROY battle would have gone on until the end of the season if Jabari was healthy.
