A black democrat in Republican Florida who was already accused of wrong doing in his prior mayoral stint which he was able to overcome because he was seen as a clean and wholesome family man. Every accusation thrown his way in a campaign or race of any kind going forward will require him to be on defense, he couldn't get elected class president under those conditions.

Why do you keep referencing Marion Barry's arrest like it applies? He was arrested as part of an FBI/DC police sting operation, the man had been accused of drug use for almost a decade prior to his arrest so it was pretty much an open secret.

going from points away from being governor, talking head on cnn and a potential national role in the dem party to mayor of anytown FL isn't a comeback...it's more so, well at least i found some job to pay the bills.
