what makes the a side is who is going to fill up the seats, who are they coming to see... all that points to ggg here...

i find it a trip how ward fans just cant accept that he isnt a draw, there are many fighters that are great that just dont draw... rigo is a good example, if rigo is not fighitn a big name he is not drawing anything... fighters like these only draw decent numbers when they fight a big name.

Negotiating is all about what's in the present, just cuz a fighter achieved all this in the past doesn't give him muscle to the now... Mosely can't ask Garcia to be te a side off things he did in the past.

yes, it being on BET is a big reason for that low ratings but it is what it is, they going to point at the numbers and go from that.

just like at floyds past, he couldnt do shyt about being the a side for the most part cuz he wasnt a draw.. same fighter and all but that all changed once he started to feel the seats and get viewers.. ward is in a similar place floyd was early in his career, ward played himself going to rn... he could have went to haymon and got built up and no one can counter how he wasnt the a side.

Wards paycheck for the smith fight was based off his drawing ability from before 2013. Now that he just got paid $2million and had what, 200k viewers on BET? Do you think he will get that paycheck from his promotor again for fighting a bum? Didnt they have to give out all sorts of jesus discounts and free tickets just to fill up the oracle? Ward is taking a paycut in his next fight unless he fights a decent name fighter. Wort-gang need to be realistic.
