It's obvious to everyone who has reported on this fight that it's Hearn and Froch who dont want the match. The WBA mandated the fight happen.......and crickets from Hearn and Froch except talking about "who's a draw", like that means anything to the WBA who ordered the purse bid themselves

But with the WBA ordering the fight, Froch and Hearn are going to need to give a heck of a lot in the negotiations if they want to keep the WBA title.
If they simply refuse to give ground during the negotiations, then it’ll go to a purse bid, where Ward’s promoters at Roc Nation Sports will have a good chance of winning the bid.

Ward has said multiple times that he would face Carl Froch anywhere in the country of England but Nottingham. Reason being, he didn't face Froch in his back yard, so why would he rematch an opponent he dominated....in their hometown?

It makes 0 sense at all and none of you Froch stans can make a valid reason or show where this has ever been done in Boxing history.

Are yall telling me they couldn't fight in London (York Hall, Alexandra Palace, M.E.N. Arena, O2 Arena) or anywhere else in the UK?

And again, if Froch really wanted the fight, he wouldn't have let himself get stripped of his belt when the WBA mandated they go to a purse bid.


And just to be factual, yall do know that a quick glance at boxrec.com shows that Andre Ward has only fought 6 of his 27 career fights in his hometown of Oakland (22%)...while Frochy Froch has fought 15 of his career 35 fights in Nottingham (43%)
