I actually think he will end up being the best player out of last years draft, he is too skilled( use the word lightly, in comparison to big man his age) and athletic not to succeed. i would really like to see him work on his back to the basket game and post moves, because right now he is basically an athletic small forward in center's body.

Yea, Davis is a beast. Obviously at this point davis is the better prospect, but IDK. When I watch both Davis and Drummond from a eye test, I just think long term and potential wise that Drummond can have better impact. If it makes since( albeit alot closer in potential), I would compare it to when Dwight Howard and Emeka Okafor( Davis will be hella of alot better) came out.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
He's actually 297lbs right now, they said it a few games ago during the broadcast.

His potential is top 5 player in the league, depends on if he puts in the work and focuses on the low post. There isn't a better "blank" sheet of paper in the NBA right now, his combination of speed, agility, hands, coordination and sheer weight don't come along very often. The thing that sets him a part from the DeAndre Jordan/JaVale McGee types other than 30lbs are his legs, his lower body is one of the major reasons why he rebounds so well. Once he roots himself in the paint he's difficult to move, same reason people have trouble backing him down.

The Pistons strength and conditioning coach has said they want him to add upper body mass, and Joe Dumars has been saying if he can get some Shaq like moves he could be unstoppable. I haven't been this excited over the development of a frontcourt player in a minute, especially if they're looking to pack on more weight and using Shaq as a template.

At bare minimum he would already be a double double guy this year if he got starters minutes, it's not a stretch to say he's better than Jordan or McGee already.

He's definitely going to be better than Deandre Jordan i think. And i think Deandre will be really good one day, it's just with Drummond i see hall of fame type potential with him. And i also think he'll be better than Brook. He's already a much better rebounder than Brook has ever been.

He's already better than DeAndre, the thing with Drummond is he's raw in the post but has skills in places you wouldn't expect him to. Like, he can actually handle the ball, has solid footwork/coordination, plus he's a surprisingly good passer. The skills he does have need to be focused on the post, like his ability to handle the ball and pass need to be channeled into playing the low post.

He looks clueless in the post right now, but unlike Dwight he's a fluid athlete, Dwight just looks stiff in everything he does. This big muthafukka Drummond tried a Euro-step against the Heat :russ:

yea, they need an All Star level wing badly. Not sure if they're considering it or have the pieces, but Rudy Gay would be a good fit for them.

Besides help on the wing I'm not even really sold on Knight as the long term answer at PG. I know he's young but I just don't really see it with him, dude has always been a gunning shoot first, shoot second PG since his HS days.

Yea the problem with Knight, and he's young so this can certainly be improved upon, is that you knew he was gonna be more of a scorer than a facilitator as is, that's just who he is. But he's not really doing it at a high enough percentage to justify his low assist numbers. He needs to work on being more aggressive and assertive, I feel like he disappears for large stretches sometimes, and he bails out the defense by settling for jumpers a lot too.

Drummond stealing the ball from Wade two times in a row and dribbling 3/4 of the court to score was some of the most impressive shyt I've seen a big man do. Most big men are just trying to stay in front of a guard when they get caught on a switch, this dude took Wade's cookies and went coast to coast twice in a row... had me like

I didn't think he'd be this good this quick. At UCONN he displayed little to NO offensive awareness. He wouldn't even BOX OUT! It must've been the culture/climate at UCONN for sure because that UCONN team severely under-performed all year.

Shaq did that to Pippen back in 95.
