I don't get why you don't like PER in this case. Just cause he isn't a borderline all-star doesn't make the fact that he is efficient and valuable to his team meaningless compared to the other's greatness.

Because he is not having the same impact on his team as LeBron and Carmelo had on theirs. :upsetfavre:

:snoop: I thought this would be Kanter's spot brehs, he's been playing well for the Jazz but he'll need a bit more time than Drummond it seems.

They're 7-3 their last 10, which coincides with his increase in minutes. He actually is having a big impact on them.

I didn't say he's not having an impact. I said he's not having the same impact LeBron and Carmelo had on their teams in their rookie seasons. Those two were also the focal points of the offense and Drummond is far from that.

Sure, he's far from being a focal point on offense but his defense is big, the kid is way a head of where everyone thought he'd be. Realistically if they did the draft again today he goes 2nd or 3rd, and that could change every year if he improves.

He's having a very efficient season, PER just points out what we all see, which is a dude that plays maybe a quarter and a half putting up nearly a double double with 2 blocks.
