Amare was pretty impressive as a teen.He won Rookie Of The Year:yeshrug:

Edit: I see that he was 19 when he got drafted, but turned 20 about 2 weeks into his rookie season......I guess he don't count.

Other than Lebron, he still had the most impressive rookie season for a player coming straight from HS that I've ever seen.

IMO

1.Lebron
2.Amare
3.KG

I like Drummond, but them dudes played a significant role on their teams

As far as teens

1.Lebron
2.KG
3.Kobe
4.Josh Smith
5.Drum

@MooseMouthMthafuga Drummond is probably the best defender of the teenagers I've seen, he's already better at that than Amare has ever been in his life.

Using the popular metric system PER (Player Efficiency Rating), Drummond's PER of 21.9, if it keeps up, will be the highest for any teenager in NBA history. Higher than MVP's LeBron James and Kobe Bryant, as well as Carmelo Anthony and Tracy McGrady.

This is why I hate PER. :beli:

LeBron and Melo were borderline all-stars their first seasons in the league.

In such a weak draft, I was a little surprised Drummond dropped as far as he did. Probably a good thing he did though. Imagine if the Kings or Wizards drafted him. :scusthov: He'd never recover from that.

Lets get it. Dude trying to say hes from Connecticut :rudy:

He rep both. He's been in Conn since he was like 15 I think, maybe even earlier than that.

He gonna be the next great Jamaican center though :wow:

I don't get why you don't like PER in this case. Just cause he isn't a borderline all-star doesn't make the fact that he is efficient and valuable to his team meaningless compared to the other's greatness.
