I can't give him creative credit on this if it's a jam session and he's not playing the best instruments/parts.
On "Ants" it's mostly the keyboards and percussion that make the song great.
Album feels like a gimmick. I hate it. I'm glad somebody actually likes this because I respect Dre.
He's experimenting and I love it, hip hop is notoriously boxed in when it comes to our artist, shoot even a rapper doing a song with an r&b artist is considered "different" in our genre so I get why dudes consider this wack
3000 has already beyond proven himself on the mic, solo and both in group, has hung in there with the bead of them.

If Andre were anonymous making good music or if he were Michael Jackson status making good music honestly what the fukk is the difference?
Good music is good music. Period. Many many artists are lucky to even have a local cult following let alone sell millions of records. And nobody’s making Yanni or Kenny G threads because they are white men totally and unequivocally disconnected from BLACK culture. Andre 3000 may be disconnected from Hip Hop, but he’s still part of BLACK culture and his name means something to OUR culture, therefore he’ll get the same type of treatment that white folks give their legends will they decide to go left. It is what it is
Now none of this is suggesting you have to like the album it even respect it. But making these asinine comparisons to white men and suggesting that Andre has no right to make this type of music simply because he’s not an anonymous artist is pretty childish.
