There are just too many wrestlers in WWE right now for everyone to get some shine. They try to spread the TV time around and it results in nobody feeling larger than life or being a stand out and when they focus on only a few characters, the rest of the talent gets shafted.

People bring up the Attitude Era but they only had 30-40 on air talents at that time. They have more than that on each individual brand right now
We've seen like 5 reports claiming Bray Wyatt was on the way back to Raw for like two months....now Lacey, EC3, Nikki Cross are in the mix...not to mention Sami Zayn and Owens are in trajectory too
Bliss is gonna be back by the beginning of Feb supposedly too.

You are saying what I just said, just not the other part.

WWE either focuses on only a few characters at a time (like they are now) while everyone else gets the shaft or they try to spread things around and it results in nobody really getting over. I think they have TOO MANY wrestlers to really capitalize like they should. Sometimes less is more, as in the Attitude Era they had tighter roster so they were forced to make the most out of people and some really shined with the opportunity. I mean, there was a moment a year or two ago where Heath Slater was getting massive chants, but because they have too many wrestlers, they weren't able to capitalize on that moment whenever it happens with anyone.

This is the main issue. There are too many damn wrestlers. Way too many. Not enough hours on tv and not enough exposure to truly make everyone happy. They're signing people just to sign them rather than wondering if they can do anything with anyone

I don’t even watch much of anyone’s product nowadays, let alone WWE, but goddamn there is a LOT of chatter in the industry right now.

The dirt sheets and reporting is better than anyone’s in ring work. I’d rather stay where I am right now and catch the occasional event than watch anyone in the ring. I wonder, is that that I’ve matured beyond the in ring action, or just that the business motions are that much more compelling?

To get on topic, it makes sense that a guy who hasn’t really been pushed would tell his talented friends to stay away from the company he’s currently in. la sombra is a legit star and he’s in a company full of them. somebody has to curtain jerk. somebody has to be the ham and egger. somebody has to JTTS. and none of that works when everyone you have is a draw, attraction, Star in their own right, and has to compete directly with each other for attention.

In their haste to kill off every other company or subjugate them, the WWE has lost the art of roster building.

Yeah pardon me if I don't believe this report on what one guy told his friend in confidence :pachaha:

Dragon Lee and Rush are brothers, I’m 100% sure this is coming from a primary source. The way they presented Andrade when he got to NXT and his position in Mexico, they probably sold him on the Del Rio push to get him outta Mexico.

I swear to God, so many awful takes in this thread.
Why would he be unhappy besides the dumb name change?
HE WAS A GODDAMN CHIPPENDALE FOR A YEAR :deadrose:

He gave Naito a style to run with, literally made dude the most over guy in Japan
Been tearing down WWE house shows for years
Has been notably underutilized in NXT and SD

Dudes couldn't even tell you a good Rush or Dragon Lee match, acting like La Sombra can't offer incredible advice from his vantage point. Shut the fukk up.
:salute:

Wrestling historically has really only had 1 to 3 main eventers at any time to carry the company over a certain period of time

Usually the top 3 to 4 spots are involved in pushing a culmination to wrestlemania unless your talking about the recent plug in part time shyt

It's just hard to be on of those people who will get that main event attention so it's natural most people will feel like they aren't pushed properly

So many factors out of your control at times over who gets pushed who Vince has a hard on for based on a look or who they are related to. Vince has ignored within the last decade audience reaction that's for sure...it's Vince toy soldier show and only he gets to pick which toys he likes
