To be fair, most drug testing in major sports are a joke.
So what happens when hes madebfuikty.
He can't get no jail time over this can he?
Anderson probably lookin for a loophole to get out his contract but when you're in bed with the mob that ain't easy
O. Unfortunate his legacy is tarnished but hey it's prize fighting. Nothing righteous about it.No, he can only get fined and banned for a number of time.

What is real martial arts?Pretty much. These dudes need to realize MMA isn't real martial arts, it's cafe fighting/prize fighting, and Silva made his money .
If it wasn't real martial arts, anyone could do it. Pro MMA fighters are highly skilled professionals for a reason. You make it sound like anyone off the street not trained in shyt could just step in and hold their own. You have fighters skilled in various forms of karate, TKD, boxing, kickboxing, jiu jitsu, judo, wrestling, etc....and it's not real martial arts? MMA is the very concept of JKD made tangible. Two well rounded fighters looking to defeat one another in the most efficient way possible.Pretty much. Most UFC fighters are not the people you describe. No they're incredibly skilled...I'm just saying there's no "honor", "bushido", "zen" etc. It's a bloodsport. These guys beat the fukk out of each other to make money; they're not like Ryu or Shaolin monks who do it for some mystical, spiritual reasons
What Steven Seagal and Shaolin monks and the like do. MMA is efficient and highly effective combat, there's no honor or artistry to it, it's prize fighting. Most MMA fighters are redneck wrestlers from the Midwest who just want to make money to feed their families .
I prefer it to TMA, and they would whoop most traditional martial artists' ass, but it's a vehicle to make money, not a way to "reach a higher plane of consciousness", feel me? I mentioned that because these guys don't have the moral restraint to not cut corners with juice if they can get away with it (and for the most part they can). The culture is about winning and making money not all that bushido/honor shyt so PED use is more than expected in an environment that barely punishes it/rewards it.

Up until recently, drug testing in MMA has been a joke. A pre and post fight urine test. That's it. This fight he got hit with a random blood & urine test. I believe that this was the first time he's been: 1. Tested randomly & 2. Asked to give blood & urine
how recent we talking?
The past year or so the athletic commissions have been doing more and more out of competition random drug tests.
