Anderson probably made around $7-8 million a year (purse, PPV cut, major sponsorships). I would definitely call that wealthy.

I was the one that posted the link of ufc allegedly withholding his purse thanks notwithstanding we will never know if those figures are legit or if he has managed his finances to the point he's living good.
