:umad:

“Superb is Rae’s man. He been in the studio a few times while we’re doing shyt. He ain’t write shyt,” All ‘Perb contributed was a couple of lines that you could put in the air. When we write, we all do that. ‘Say this one right here’ or ‘Put this one right here.’ We all catch lines with each other ’cause you in the studio. - Ghostface

We came together and made something special.. I am not and never will be a “ghostwriter” for drake.. Im proud to say that we’ve collaborated .. but i could never take credit for anything other than the few songs we worked on together .. Thats all i have to say on it..Quentin Miller

Sounds like the same shyt.....so its either Ghosfaces legacy is tarnished like Drakes or Drakes Ghostwriting claims have been blown out of proportion by the haters because no one dares says the same thing concerning the same procedure Perb did for Ghostface on Supreme Clientele.

Its either one or the other. :sas2:

Might want to revisit your logic. Miller was lying, as the reference tracks show. They feature more than a couple bars - he gave Drake multiple bars, hooks, and flows. These two situations cannot be compared unless you present reference tracks of Superb.

TLDR: you lost try again homie

Perb said in the line he got bars for sale.

If we agree that Ghost said Perb added things here or there its not far fetched to say that Ghost paid him to do so. Hence the line about having bars for sale.
So if he said "i got crack for sale ask ghost" that would mean he sells crack to ghost too? :dahell:

My logic says that Ghost paid Perb for those "Couple of lines' hence the line about having 'bars for sale' being accurate.

I don't care fam if he suggested a line or wrote a verse and got paid in crack. It doesn't change anything. Ghost still dropping heat without him.

Watch what people do don't listen to what they say. I don't see any mixtapes or solo albums by him to back up any of his claims of having such talent. Nothin. That's all that matters. Not this he say she say shyt.

aint no he say see say shyt...Ghost said it himself, Perb added a line or two...U downplayed it by saying Ghost paid him in crack. Bottom line...The thread title has merit, if Ghost paid him, then he sold bars. Period, end of story.

i'll take ghost word over a crackhead pedophile who has claimed to have written supreme clientelle yet hasn't made songs worth shyt on his own.

Nikka should have at least one classic mixtape talking that shyt. don't cosign a clown cuz it makes you look like one too..
i dont think he claimed to write the entire project.. could be wrong, tho.. :hubie:

and, not to troll.. but QM, Nickelus F, and a few other cats dont have classic mixtapes.. i already peeped where the threadstarters going with this.. he aint even a fan of Drake..

ya thats my point though some dudes are just meant for to play their role in life. If you a hook man and come up with a couple lines play ya role. If superb was so ill he wouldn't still be attaching himself to ghost for a buzz. Just like all the people that pretended to be upset about the drake QM thing don't support QM for obvious reasons. He isn't a very good solo artist. everyone can play their part and eat.

OP wanted controversy but its not really an issue wether or not he wrote for ghost. Ghost legacy is not in question..

no controversy...i'm pointing out the hypocrisy in saying Drakes legacy is tarnished when he did the same thing with QM that Ghost did with Perb.

Why pay him when they were free? Perb was in the studio which means he was getting his drink on and hitting laced blunts. I'm sure they made a crackhead feel welcome and he threw out some crazy bars Ghost used.

But that's it. SC is one of the greatest rap albums of all time breh...but it's not Ghost's only great album. He was dope before and after. And he was on that abstract wave on multiple projects, including the Wu album that came out around that time. Did Perb write all that shyt too? Come on.

Quentin Miller did nothing as a solo artist, and Drake is the biggest rapper out. He must not've wrote for Drake.

Piff, you know what's crazy to me? I still don't hear the Perb influence on most of Ghost llines on Supreme Clientele. Maybe I'm buggin but I've listened to Perb alot and I've never heard him spit like how Ghost was spittin on most that album. "Both hand clusty, chillin wit my man Rusty, low down, pull out the burner, kinda dusty" or "Summer time, holdin a 9, jeeps rumble and my dogs puff grass" don't sound like Perb. Or any n!gga around the Wu camp at that time...or anytime. Just sounds like Ghost sh!t. There's little lines here and there but nothing significant enough for Perb accusations to hold credence. I've heard a few people over the years say they can hear the Perb influence on Supreme Clientele but to me it's minuscule.

Y'all can't hear Perb's influence on songs like The Juks and Goodtimes? It's pretty obvious that Ghost believed in dude's talent and borrowed certain parts of his style. Doesn't mean Ghost doesn't write his own stuff.
