Scalebound project and that work concluded before the end of 2016. The relationship between the two companies reportedly “soured” following
Scalebound‘s last showing in August at Gamescom 2016. Several staff members are said to have been forced to take a month away from the pressure of the project’s heavy workload in the fall. When they returned,
Scalebound was behind schedule, and with issues surrounding the game’s engine and overdue deadlines, the decision was made to cease development.
