Greek gods mostly came from the proto Indo-Europeans and I believe a few from the Minoan civilization on Crete. I think Osiris and Isis were worshiped by some cults in Greece but nothing too serious.The beginning of their studies into science and mathematics came mostly from Mesopotamia. Their philosophical ideas were greatly evolved from the mystery cults in Greece like the ones of Orpheus, Dionysus, and Demeter, along with possibly an Indian religious influence.

I have had that book on the shelf for the past few years..I also have his other book "the African origin of civilization" once I finish this other book "labrinth of kingdoms" about Timbuktu and the sahara kingdoms..then I'll start reading those Cheikh Books I have..
