Known as the Ocmulgee Earthlodge, new evidence proves this earth-covered building was a sophisticated piece of engineering with precise astronomical alignments that likely served as an astronomical observatory. There is PLENTY new under the sun, especially involving astronomy and cosmology.

While I marvel at our ancestors knowledge and intellect, it involved a lot of determining patterns, cycles, etc.. Those are very important things. They are great source of pride to the human species

The time just before, during, and after the Scientific Revolution and Age of Enlightenment expanded our knowledge of everything exponentially. That is just a fact. Sure, some of our ancestors had some fantastic and amazing discoveries, that we later built on and expanded, but to blatantly say there is nothing new under the sun?

I'm just tired of these "alternative" non-educated motherfukkers making these pseudo-filled facebook status comments without backing anything up.

Nothing new under the sun? What about a fukking particle smasher that replicates subatomic interactions and let's scientists understand the fundamental aspects of nature? Was that in the pyramids somewhere? Maybe I need to take a drive down to Machu Picchu and look harder for that.
